Died Suddenly .......2007-11-25
this was a great dvd player, had for 13 months and no problems. one day, i moved my tv to a different room and reconnected everything to it. and the green light on the dvd player was not as bright and it kept saying that i had the wrong disc or no disc. i would unhook it and re hook it up and then it would work. this work for a week and then suddenly the green light just faded into nothing and now it is "dead as a door nail". And you can look up do-yourself-repair for this dvd player all you want, you won't find anything. i'm glad this was a gift, because i would have never bought it myself!

Really the only complaint I have about this player is the noise it makes. When the disc starts loading it sounds like the player might actually lift-off. It also makes noise while the dvd plays. Don't expect this dvd player to be around forever.

I'm looking to trash this piece of junk as soon as I can find a new cheap DVD player. The door always jams, and it won't play any DVD with the slightest scratch on it. It was a waste of money.

I have used this lens with my Rebel 2000 and EOS-3. It's an excellent lens! The auto focus is fast and relatively quiet, the image quality is excellent. The best feature in my opinion is the large lens area, it captures lots of light. This is an A+ lens for the price.

I shot my first wedding using this lense, it performed outstanding. I am very satisfied and will continue using this lense with my Nikon D70s camera.
Outstanding Value and Performance........2001-10-15
I have purchased two of these lenses (autofocus version) for our Nikon N-70. I dropped the first lens and something came loose. This is a superb lens. I studied the Modern Photography Magazine ratings to select this lens, which was/is the sharpest zoom lens in the 20-120 range. Not even Nikon or Canon can beat this lens for sharpness across the focal range. Spherical Aberration is marginally higher than an average lens with this focal range, so you wouldn't want to shoot professional architecture photos with this lens. Tamron makes a semi-pro lens with an F-2.8 across a similar zoom range, but it is no sharper than this lens.
