Amazon.com Product Description
The ideal accessory for either a living room or a child's bedroom or play area, Disney's red, Classic-styled DVD/CD player from Memorex is equipped to handle DVDs, CDs, homemade audio CD-Rs and CD-RWs--even content policing (parental locks let you prohibit specific DVDs). The set's high Disney fashion derives from its fun shape and cute, detachable yellow "feet." The player also includes an entertaining, Disney-designed screen saver and customized onscreen user interface.
For added convenience for both parents and children, the player comes with not one but two remote controls: a full-function model and a simplified one for the kids (offering power, play, pause, stop, and forward and reverse chapter-skip buttons).
A snazzy Disney logo enlivens the front panel, and kids will love the buttons arranged in the famous Mickey Mouse silhouette. Other features include a choice of composite- and S-video outputs, Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround output (for use with a a full-featured audio/video receiver), picture zoom, and multi-speed playback (forward/reverse).

Outstanding.......2006-08-10
Disney would only lend their name to outstanding products and it is!! Well made and very kid friendly. It is easy to set up and has 2 remotes (one for parents and one for kids) and they (like the DVD player) are well made. The kid size is perfect for little hands and the parent's is larger. Even my 4 yr old couldn't harm it. The "feet" are removeable so you will get many years of use and it will fit any "Mickey" TV 13" or 19"
The WORST dvd player I've ever seen!!!!.......2006-03-22
There are reasons why to not buy this:
1.It's terrible!
2.It sucks like azz!!
3.It's only for punk azz littie kidz!!!
4.It Finally broke!!!!(YIPPEE!!)
And...
5.Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!
I would rather buy a Sony dvd player than this garbage!!!!!
Excellent DVD to go with our Mickey TV.......2005-10-31
I was suprised to read some of the other reviews as we have had ours for 2 years and have had zero problems. It works incredible, easy as can be and I couldn't find a problem with it if I wanted to even with my son banging on it and pressing all the buttons on off, on off, on off....We love it!
No problems...but..........2005-06-16
We have had this DVD player for well over a year now with no problems at all...and we're talking about a kid who has scratched the heck out of every DVD he owns! Sorry to say it folks: But either you've got some bad luck in getting the one faulty product in the bunch...or your kids are doing something to the DVD player that they shouldn't.
Besides the complaints of reliability, I'm surprised no one else had pointed out the one thing that irks me to no end: The lack of arrows/menu control on the remote!! In other words...the remote has play, pause, stop, FF, RW...and that's it! I don't know what moron thought of this scheme. Let's see...I buy, say, Disney's Aladdin with a ton of extra features...and there is no way for the DISNEY DVD player to play them! Or even more frustrating: Let's say you pop in a televison series...like Batman the animated series... for example...there's no way to move the selection to play the other episodes!! You better hope that when you pop in a DVD, the highlighted selection defaults on 'PLAY MOVIE' or else your kids are watching whatever it does default to.
I haven't attempted to try an aftermarket remote...but I am completely dumbfounded on why they left selection arrows off. Kids made need things to be simplified, but they aren't stupid.
Completely reliable...to break!.......2005-04-12
I've never had problems with products from Sears in the past, so I didn't feel the need to purchase an extended warranty. However after having TWO of these units fail within 18 months('cannot read disc'), I am wary of purchasing another one even WITH an extended warranty.
My recommendation? Do not buy.

Customer Reviews:
Expensive - but they worked great - and at 8x!.......2007-11-30
I ordered two sets of discs - these and another brand that was slightly cheaper (a box of 25 for about the same price and this box of 20).
I was very nervous about these, because of the higher price and the "2.4x" burning speed.
I was able to burn these at "8x" (it was a valid option for me in Nero, I didn't have to do anything special to trick it or force it into the higher speed).
Even a 8x I have has PERFECT RESULTS with these, while the other brand (advertised to be 8x) struggled even when I tried slower burn speeds.
Technically this DESERVES 5 STARS, but it really hurts to pay close to $3/disc. Ouch. That's why I dropped it down to a 4-star rating. But I love inkjet-printable discs, I needed dual layer for this project, and a good $3 disc is better than a $2.50 coaster.
FYI - My burners at NEC ND-3520A and ND-3550A. Other burners may have different results, so always test before you order massive quantities of any brand of blank discs.
Excellent, these DVD's are great!.......2007-11-27
I just finished a huge wedding DVD project on my iMac, and after making 5 coasters in a row using Memorex discs I gave up. I almost ended up buying an extrenal burner thinking the problem was my built-in drive on my computer. Then I read on some help forums that Verbatim is the brand to use. So I ordered these and burned 8 DVDs in a row with no errors or problems, and the printable surface allowed me to print a high-quality picture on them. I couldn't be happier!
Good media; NOT hub printable.......2007-11-05
These media work well to burn DL disks in a number of different DL burners, mostly at 2.4x or 4x. Copies work on several different set-top boxes tested. Like ALL DL disks, TOO EXPENSIVE! This product tends to burn well, with 4 out of 50 "coasters." If you MUST use DL disks, these are good. The white surface takes ink better than the comparable Ridata disks, which are a bit less expensive, but print with noticeably less vibrant color.
Simply the best DVD+R.......2007-08-07
I've tried a large number of blank DVDs, and Verbatim always blows away the competition.
Worth it........2007-05-12
Good results. Clean burns. Attractive price per disc, especially compared to local options, which don't seem to carry printable DVD+R DL.
Quick shipping and service.
Customer Reviews:
Look elsewhere........2006-11-17
I purchased this product to protect the 2.5" LCD on my Panasonic Lumix FX01 digital camera. As said in a previous review, the strip will severely reduce the clarity and quality of display.
Also, it doesn't completely cover the LCD display on the Panasonic Lumix FX01, which is labeled as 2.5", leaving about 10% of the display unprotected and susceptible to scratches.
I'm sure there are much better products out there, I only wish I had found it instead of this.
Not Worth Buying.......2006-07-07
I purchased the 1.8" and 2.5" screen protectors for my EOS Rebel XT and 5D digital cameras based on Giottos' marketing spiel: "Giotto's professional screen protector is optimized for almost all common LCD screens, with its high quality, there is no longer any need to bother about finger print, scratching, and smudging; and more, it enhances picture display."
While it's true that you won't notice finger prints or smudging on the covered screen, you'll also lose a substantial amount of screen visibility because the protector has a frosty sheen that cuts down severely on image clarity. This isn't so obvious indoors, but once outside, the protector actually worsened the Canon LCD's already poor visibility in sunlight. Adjusting the LCD screen to the brightest level did not help. Needless to say, the protector did not remain on my cameras for more than five minutes.
If you still feel compelled to try this product for your digital camera, you may want to first measure the glass surface area of your camera back before selecting the proper size. On my Canons, the protector only covers the actual image areas, leaving the rest of the large, rear glass panel unprotected.
Product Description
Metrobility's "redundant twister" interface provides redundant data paths for path protection and restoration. An essential connectivity tool for high priority and mission-critical applications, it provides fully redundant data paths as well as power supply redundancy, for Ethernet or Fast Ethernet devices. If the primary connection fails due to a cable or hardware failure, the "redundant twister" interface switches the device's traffic to the secondary connections within 200 microseconds.Intelligent "redundant twister" models also deliver Managed Network-on-Demand capability for mission-critical applications. Managed Network-on-Demand allows the "redundant twister" media converter to be configured to operate in either Dynamic Recovery Mode (DRM) to ensure session integrity and increase uptime, or in Network Select Mode (NSM) to redirect traffic and add security through link isolation. And with SONAR, or Switch on No Activity Received, the interface not only monitors for loss of link on the active port, but will also monitor for traffic. With SONAR, if the active port remains idle for a given amount of time (configurable for 2-4 seconds) the resilient technology of the redundant interface will verify activity on the secondary port, and switch traffic to that port once traffic is detected. This prevents a switch or switch port failure from bringing down the network or any part of it.
