would not buy fron this product again.......2007-07-30
will not buy from the seller or this product,both are very hard to work with,battery did not charge up,try to get a replace from the seller they said I had to go to the manufature,went there took 2 months to get a new battery, and gusee what,it don't work ether,I try to get them to replace the player,they say it now out of werranty,and I have to go back to the seller and they say the same thing,they only have a 30 replayment,if you want a credit,you have to pay for shipping back to them,it was have the cost of the player to ship it back,now I have a player that doesn't work on the battery,it only works when it's plug into house curant or the car battery,I'm know a very happy camper with this seller or the manufacture,

No Sound !!! Why sell something like this ?.......2007-07-25
I don't understand how these ever made it to market. They are cheaply made in China and they come with virtually NO SOUND. I am not kidding you. I thought it was a good deal since it came with a carrying case but I sure was wrong.
The only good review you will find on these units is from the poor sellers who bought a bunch of them and are trying to sell them as fast as they can before the word gets out that these players are defective !!!
And try to get Spectron's customer service to help you! That is a nightmare in itself!

We bought ours around Easter of 2007. We left it in the box until our summer vacation. The second time we went to use it on the same trip (the third movie)the screen did not work. The backlight went out on the LCD screen. So, to make a long story short, just stay away! I would not even give it 1 star but that was the lowest I could go with the scale provided. :-)
Poorly Made / Very low volume.......2007-07-01
I bought a Protron / Spectron unit at my local Toys R Us store and thought it would be a good idea to use on a family journey to Disney World. I thought it would keep the kids quiet on our long journey but boy was I wrong. All the kids keep saying was daddy turn it up ! The volume was up all the way but it was barely a whisper plus you could hear the chattering of the unit and all times. Very light and cheap. I wish I would have read other reviews on this product before I purchased one. I did take it back with no problems after our trip but learned a lesson. Stay away from this brand and save your self a real headache.

I like this product. It's very tiny to keep and take it with me.

It lasted for 2 months and crapped out. It's smaller than most thumbdrives, but it doesn't work. I can't reccomend this brand at all
Centon Bad To Deal With .......2006-01-19
I purchased a 1GB USB 2.0 data stick from Comp USA. It lasted 1 month and went dead. Centon will not respond to numerous emails for a replacement. I agree there web site stinks at best,when it's up. STAY AWAY FROM CENTON!!!!!

I bought the 1GB model from Compusa. It lasted 2 months then quit working. The web site is a dog. I am in the process of returning it. They want the receipt and UPC code. I can't recommend them. I have a Lexar that has worked for over three years.

Very Disappointed in Centon.......2006-09-16
I bought one of these flash drives at CompUSA a few months ago. The first time I used it, I was trying to move a file from one computer to another. I was able to save the file onto the flash drive, but when I plugged it into the second computer the drive must have fried itself because it did not work and has not worked since. I called Centon's customer support and had to leave a message. I got a message back that they had opened an incident report for me and to call back for resolution. I have called numerous times since and never get to speak with a live person, and they have not returned a single call. At this point I've had it with them and just want to warn others to beware of this brand.
