Don't buy!.......2007-11-03

We got this player for our daughter's toy room. I thought it was cute being pink and all. The price was right for something that they would probably bang on a couple times, possibly use their markers on, etc. Unfortunately, it barely plays dvd's. Any other player in our house plays the disc's just fine. If the disc has the SMALLEST blemish on it, this player will not play it! It skips and gets all distorted. I would highly advise spending a little extra and getting something that actually works! This gets one star and that is strictly for appearance!

The Lowrance GlobalMap 4900M displays towns, roads, airports, and thousands of other destinations.
As with the best GPS navigators, the 4900M is highly accurate, with precision 12 parallel channel GPS and WAAS mapping that gets you to within a few meters of your destination regardless of whether you're on a Great Lakes fishing expedition or a cross-country road trip. Each trip is completely customizable, with the ability to chart new paths, waypoints, trails, and more. You can also easily recalculate your trip route should you get distracted and lose your way, and thanks to the dual MMC/SD card slots -- which are protected by a waterproof door -- the device can save and retrace up to 100 of your favorite plot trails, with up to 10,000 points in each path.

Users can also perform more advanced GPS functions on the GlobalMap 4900M, including determining the distance between two separate locations, creating and editing brand-new routes, and navigating trails and paths backwards. It works great! It was easy to setup and I've had no problems with it at all. It supports both USB 2.0 and 1.1 at a cheap price. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a USB hub.
