The DVM-1815's 5-disk carousel gives you extremely flexible Repeat and Program playback options.The DVM-1815 supports the CD-R/RW format. It plays finalized CD-R/RW disks (single-session or multi-session) containing MP3/WMA8 audio files. It also reads still photos in the Kodak Picture CD or JPEG format taken by a digital camera. WMA (Windows Media Audio) is an audio compression format developed with Microsoft technology. It claims to offer the highest quality sound available in the industry. If WMA is used to compress a music CD on a PC, for instance, using the new Encoder 8, the quality of sound at 48 kbps is said to be equivalent to that of the original CD. WMA is now becoming a standard audio compression format rivaling the popularity of MP3.

I purchased this product in Sept 2004. I should have done my homework before buying however. Denon products tend to have more problems than many other well-known products. This DVD player was no exception. Within the first year my CD's and DVD's began to skip. Furthermore, the price is way to high for the features you get in this DVD player. You can purchase a Sony or Panasonic DVD player with similar features that is just over a third the price of this Denon and with much more reliability. No more Denon's for me!
Consistently damages DVD.......2004-07-23
Plays adequately. Excellent sound reproduction (a feature it shares with many players.) The carousel however, consistently causes the discs inside to slide out of their position and to get caught above the rotating tray. This had resulted in catastrophic damage to many DVD's and makes the player useless as a CD changer. Additionally, to avoid damage I have had to load only 1 disc at a time and immediately remove it after viewing. Also, not quite as good at playing discs with light scratches. (the scratches it causes though are not light but very heavy usually).

Phones do NOT work!!!.......2007-02-28
I ordered this phone for our law office in November. After several weeks, it arrived. The new associate started after the holidays. Line two did not work. Contacted seller. His response was that he was not going to do a thing about it not working b/c we did not contact him sooner. His phones do not work and he's not not easy to work with or willing to exchange. In short, we were stuck w/a $140 phone that does not work. I would not buy from this seller again.

I searched EVERYWHERE for this exact phone to add to the four already networked together at my place of business, and could not find it anywhere. Finally, one seller had one, and I gobbled it up. Works great with the other phones in the network and was so easy to add in. Thanks so much!!!!
I can't kill this phone..........2006-03-24
I've had this model, plus the predecessor for about 14 (!) years and we now have 6 phones hooked altogether...both the earlier version and this version all work together & work perfectly...
I keep wanting to upgrade because I think after all these years I think I must be missing something, but everytime I check online, I see I'm only missing cordless capability. I hesitate to spend money for a new phones when these work great...
I think I hosed one the other day with an electrical spike, so I'll probably end up buying a replacement... and not a whole system!

Superior multi-function multi-line speakerphone.......2006-03-03
This is one of the best consumer products I've purchased. I bought a large number of the previous version/model in 1995, and have upgraded to the 29451, which has the LCD/liquid crystal display, a better speakerphone, and a few extra functions. The amazing characteristic was its remarkable intercom function - just plug in the power and the phone line jack, and you have an instant intercom. There is also a "paging" system, or broadcasting function. Quick-dialing programming, redialing, conference calling, and call transferring ( to another phone within the office) all work flawlessly. The speakerphone is excellent, although you have to allow for the fact that reasonably-priced speakerphones are not "two-way" -- the microphone transmits speech only one direction at a time; if more than one participant speaks, the sound is blocked.

THE CASE IS BUILT OUT OF A FINE LEATHER.HOWEVER, THE BELT CLIP IS VERY UNSECURED AND TENDS TO FALL OFF YOUR WAIST VERY OFTEN.
THEY SHOULD IMPROVE IT BY CHANGING THE OPEN BELT CLIP BY A CLOSED ONE.
