Caller ID/Call Waiting displays the name and number of the caller in Call Waiting even while you are on the phone. To activate the Caller ID features, you must subscribe through your telephone company. Instantly dial the last number called at the touch of a button with Last Number Redial feature. LED flashes when new voice mail is received. A subscription to telephone company voice mail service is required. The phone is Hearing Aid Compatible, meeting all of the requirements for compatibility of inductively coupled hearing aids.

Solid phone.......2007-01-03
We've had several Uniden phones, and found them to be very robust and clear. This model is no exception - a good buy.
Too loud.......2006-10-11
Over the past 6 years, I have only owned Uniden home phones. You would think I have learned my lesson, but apparently not. The first one lasted for 3 years and then randomly stopped charging. We bought a new battery and put that in, but then it just died about a month later.
So I bought the top of the line super fancy model, and that died within a month. I contacted the warentee department and since I lived in Bermuda at the time, they wanted no part in helping me.
Now that I am back in the US, I bought this phone that the review is on, and it has pros and cons - but I think there is one negative point that trumps all other points: it is TOO LOUD.
There is a volume control on it, and even turned all of the way down, it still sounds like someone is SCREAMING in your ear. You can actually set the phone down on the lowest setting and use it like a speakerphone it is so loud.
At first I was going to put up with it - but after a month of it and the splitting headaches that any usage of this phone casues... I'm going to have to toss it and get something else.
On the good side, it is inexpensive and other than the volume issue, seems to be a decent phone.

I would give it 5 stars if it was not for a very loud popping sound heard whenever buttons are pressed. This is absolutely awful and it makes the adapter almost useless (it is still usable if you keep playing tracks continuously). Believe it or not, this problem happens with a lot of people (google "ad-15 popping noise")
Buy an iPod instead!

I personally find it incredibly annoying that Nokia feels the need to use a proprietary headphone jack for their phones. I already have a superlative pair of Sennheiser portable headphones that I use with any portable music player I own, and will not pay inflated prices for cruddy Nokia earbuds.
This adapter is small, well built and does exactly what you need it to do.

The Nokia stereo earbuds leave a lot to be desired. With this adapter, you can use any earbuds or audiophile headphones you like. I can assure you that high bit-rate MP3s on my 6682 phone sounds GREAT through Bose Triport headphones. Highly recommended if you plan to use your Nokia as a regular, personal music listening device.
