A great phone.......2008-01-01

I purchased the Panasonic KX-TG5761 about two weeks ago. Has worked very well and no reception issues, even around wireless equipment and a different set of Panasonic wireless phones in another part of the house.
Would recommend.

Great features but poor quality.......2007-10-10

The first unit I bought was defective, with very noisy calls after two days of use. Unplugging and resetting the unit took the problem away temporarily, but after two more days of use, noisy calls again. And so on.

Returning the defective new unit to Panasonic meant I was without a phone for some time. Panasonic did not repair my phone but instead sent a replacement. After using the replacement unit for some months, now two columns of keys on the base unit are inoperative. No relief, even temporary, from resetting. Now I get to send the second, replacment unit back to Panasonic and wait again for another replacement.

Unless you have lots more patience than I do, maybe you should look for a higher quality product.

Works great in a house with Wireless Internet.......2007-08-10

I bought this phone because I was having issues with my old cordless phone messing with my Wireless LAN. It did the trick!

Crystal Clear and User Friendly.......2007-08-06

This expandable system works well right out of the box. We bought this unit plus three additional handsets (Panasonic KX-TGA570S 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Expandable Digital Cordless Handset). Set up was easy.

The LCD screen is easy to read and is intuitive in layout. The speaking caller ID is a great feature, though the computer-generated voice sometimes comes up with some unusual pronunciations.

The real bottom line is that this is a phone and it should and does perform very well as one. The voice quality is as good as any wired phoned we have ever used.

Panasonic's Terrible Return Policy.......2007-07-04

The phone lasted 2 days when the speaker went out. I called Panasonic and they said to unplug & plug the phone back in. This works but I have to do it about every other time I use the speaker. If you return this phone you do NOT get a new phone. You get a refurbished phone. Also you have to go without the base unit until they send you another unlike a lot of companies who send you a new one with a box to return the old phone. I only buy Panasonic phones and this is the first time one has gone bad. This is a terrible return policy. If a phone breaks within 2 weeks you should get a new phone, not a phone that has been overhauled.

The battery arrived according to schedule and has function quite well. I am slightly disappointed the battery does not seem to hold a charge as long as initially expected. However, considering the price, I am basically satisfied with my purchase.

Life's a bit short.......2007-01-09

I bought two of these batteries as replacements for my wife's and my cell phones. They work fine, but the battery life is not the same as the original batteries when they were new. I would estimate that the life of these batteries is about 75% of the originals when they were new. 1/3 of the battery bars disappear on a fully charged battery after a single day of standby or a single 15 minute phone call. The original batteries lasted a little more than a year. I expect in about 8 months I will just replace/upgrade my phones rather than replace these batteries again. So, these will meet my needs, but I'm a little disappointed.

My old cell phone battery was losing full charge after about fifteen minutes of talking... I knew it was time to get a new battery. This battery brought my phone back to life, which was the entire purpose. :)
