Best cordless phones I've ever used.......2007-12-25

This is just what we've been looking for: A cordless/corded set with clear sound. We've had ours for about three weeks and have nothing but praise so far. Other reviewers have gone into great detail about the features, so I won't repeat those things. I saw one review which said that this set does not work on a multilevel home. That has not been our experience. We keep one cordless in the basement and have had no problems at all.

We ordered this phone to replace our 2.4 GHz phone that was getting interference from our wireless router, which is also on the 2.4 GHz frequency. This phone looks good, is easy to set up and is very clear! The features are abundant! My husband has some hearing loss, but can hear with this phone. This is a first for him! This is the best phone that we have ever purchased! We love the 3 extra handsets. We both can have our own handset and leave one in the bedroom for a night emergency. I would recommend this product to anyone, whether or not you have a wireless router! Great price, too! I PURCHASED THIS PHONE AFTER READING HOW GREAT IT WAS IN A MULTI LEVEL HOME, THIS IS NOT TRUE. THE FIRST TIME I SET THE PHONE UP IN THE COMPUTER ROOM WITH HANDSETS IN THE LIVING ROOM AND TWO UPSTAIRS. MY HOME IS ONLY 1850 SQ. FT. LIVING NOT THAT HUGE. IF I WOULD TRY AND USE THE UPSTAIRS PHONE IT WOULD CONNECT AND THAN DISCONNECT OR REAL HEAVY STATIC. I THOUGHT MAYBE THE COMPUTER WAS CAUSING PROBLEM SO I MOVED BASE RECEIVER UP STAIRS SAME THING IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 25 FEET FROM THE RECEIVER IN THE HOUSE IT WILL NOT WORK. I CAN THOUGH WALK OUTSIDE AND WALK AROUND THE POOL AND IT WORKS FINE. AT THIS TIME I AM TRYING TO RETURN PHONES FOR REFUND.

I needed a few cordless units to put in different rooms. I have only one access point with my Sunrocket service. So Uniden expandable worked best for me. The feature which I love is conferencing with an outside call using all corded + cordless units. Also the room monitor is a bonus! Thanks Uniden.

Outstanding Phone.......2007-05-07

We did a fair amount of research before purchasing this phone. We purchased it from a local 'big box' outlet (Circuit City) for a cheaper price than was available on Amazon (though I would have no problem getting this from Amazon, it did not seem to be available for free shipping---which would have wiped out any benefit from avoiding sales tax with the Amazon purchase).

Our last phone was an ATT corded phone with 2 cordless handsets that we purchased about 7 years ago...it worked very well but was only 2.4 GHz instead of 5.8 GHz and was really due for an update. This Uniden has a lot of great featurs outlined in other reviews. The set-up is VERY simple.

The handsets just 'feel' quite solid (unlike a Panasonic that I looked at very closely) and the numbers are BACKLIT (many are not in this price-range---again the Panasonic's handsets were not backlit).
The phonebook is awesome and easy to program. The salmon-colored display is very sharp and much nicer than I have seen on other phones.

I really wanted to purchase the Panasonic KX-TG6074B but when we compared all the features we find most important, my wife convinced me to go with the Uniden.

I really like having a corded phone base with the cordless handsets in the event of a power outage...this was something that I really wanted and not too many packages with 3 handsets or more seemed to have this (again, the Panasonic KX-TG6074B does not) when I was searching.

Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and think the price was very reasonable for all of the features.

This will not fit an L6 as advertised. The holes on the side are below the side buttons, and the strap actually pushes down on the buttons, so it's constantly taking pictures. I'm returning.

Fits my slvr well, and has protected it through a couple of falls. Stays in the clip on my belt without being too dfficult to pull out.

NOT for the L6.......2007-11-08

When I saw the title, I said to myself, "Nice, a case for my Motorola SLVR L6." I was WRONG. This case works well with the L7 (I've tested), thus the three rating. However, the openings are COMPLETELY OFF when you insert the L6. It is still usable, but it looks fairly bad. I still use it when I am in need of putting it on my belt.
