It has a nice design and look. the battery time is reasonable. People on the other end say the sound is good but I keep hearing static all the time.

I got this as a present for someone. I have a Nokia BH900 myself which has worked great, so I wanted to stick with Nokia for another bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, I seem to have received a broken one, in that it can't even get as far away from the phone as putting it a pants pocket without losing signal and disconnecting. But Nokia has proven to be an awesome brand so far, so I have hope that we simply got a bad unit, and that the replacement will work great. To be continued...
Heavy user .......2007-09-10
Have been using the BH-800 for a few weeks now and am generally pleased with the performance. Battery life is great; I can usually get 2 days out of it and I talk several hours per day. Fit in the ear is great. I do get a noticable amount of static that I did not get with the last 3 devices I have tried. Strange thing about the static is that my callers can not hear it. Anyway, overall I would say this is the most comfortable, long lasting headset I have had (it is my 5th in 2 years).
Great Headset, close to perfect.......2007-07-26
I have had my Nokia BH-800 for more than 8 months now and still use it everyday and wear it in my ear for a good part of the day. I do not use the ear loop as it fits my ear just right, but I would say that I am quite above average on size.
The sound is excellent, have never had a problem with hearing people or people hearing me. Most of the other headsets got complaints about the other end being able to hear them.
The reception is good, I get a little bit of static when the phone is more than 10 feet away. The range is really good, I once was out in the parking lot about 35-40 feet away and my earpiece rang. I was able to answer it and then quickly walked back to my phone to get rid of the static.
Occasionally I have to turn off the blue tooth on my phone (XV6700), turn it on then power on my Nokia headset to get it to sync.
A few complaints, I would like to be able to change the ring in the headset from the default Nokia ring, I would love to be able to use a mini USB to charge it, the mute is hard to use, and I personally think it is kind ugly, never used the necklace it comes with.
Bottom line, it works really well, you get what you pay for. Just don't lose it as it is VERY small and I once spent 15 minutes looking for it after dropping it in a parking lot.

Small, light, stylish, clear, light, simple, easy to use, did I say light already? This unit has sooo much, it just lacks good noise reduction. That's the only reason it gets a 4. I don;t even mind the price for such high quality and function. Get me wind reduction!!!

I was searching for a headset that was over the head and at a reasonable price. I couldn't find that so I settled for this one. I must say I am not disappointed with my purchase. The sound quality is good and it fits comfortably over my ear.
A Really Awful Design.......2005-07-31
I continue my search for a good hands-free telephone headset...This isn't it! I bought it along with two others (neither of which was good either) and immediately noted the problem with it. The ear piece is WAY WAY WAY too large for anyone with even a medum sized ear. It is the largest in-ear earpiece I've ever seen on a headset. It is either made for men (and it probably wont' fit some of them either) or people with really large ears. The sound quality is acceptable, but it's hard to tell how well it works because I can barely stuff it into my ear. It's hard to tell how people at the other end hear me either. Save your money on this one.
