Purchased TV October 12th 2007. It is on the way to repair shop tomorrow. TV will not turn on with power button or remote. Tried to solve problem as suggested by samsung rep with no luck. I'm not that thrilled with image quality either. Hope I'm not stuck with a lemon! Next purchase will be with a retail store. At least I can return items that do not work. As an example; Costco has a 90 day return policy plus a 1 year additional warranty.

Just received the 23" Samsung (white) for my kitchen. First issue I have is with the stand - how in the world could they make a TV stand that doesn't allow you to tilt or rotate the TV while on its base. If I had known that you couldn't do that I wouldn't have bought it. The image is mediocre - nothing really special - may be due to the channels (non-digital). This also causes a problem with the Captions - you can't increase their size unless they are digital channels - whatever the reason is, doesn't seem to make sense. So now we have a bigger TV in our kitchen, but with smaller captions!! My wife's mother tongue isn't English, so that is why I was looking forward to this TV - to get bigger subtitles! Oh well, I will give it a few days and will probably return it.

Great first HDTV.......2007-10-30

This is a great HDTV. The specs are very impressive, and I love all the inputs on the back. The inputs were one of the best selling points for me. For a HDTV of this size, I was surpised to see the 2x HDMI, 2x Coax, 2x Component, Digital Audio Optical Out, as well as Analog Audio Out! That combined with a brand name like Samsung, a stylish design, and a great price from Amazon (over $100 bucks cheaper than at my local Best Buy!) this HDTV was a no brainer. It matches my Apple products very well and also matches my recently purchased Logitech Z-4I white 2.1 speakers perfectly.

The only cons I have about this TV are, the speakers are rather weak. They are fine for casual TV viewing, but whenever you have a few people over and things get to be a little loud, it is at times difficult to hear. This is where the beauty of the Digital Audio Optical Output and the Analog Audio Outputs come into play. You can hook this up to any kind of speakers you want giving you great sound. Unlike a lot (but not all) of Vizio HDTVs around this size, that don't have any type of Audio output.

To all the reviewers who keep complaining about the boot up and shut down chime, you can turn it off in the menu system. This HDTV is packed full of features and options, I love it and think it's a great HDTV.

The battery that DOESN'T keep going and going!.......2004-11-03

I bought this so called extended battery for longer stanby time with my phone . Boy was I disappointed! This battery is supposed to be a Nokia but there is No way it is!!
This piece of garbage NEVER EVER held a charge more than 2 days! My old used battery I already had in my phone held a charge for at least 4 days over this "Extended battery!
Do yourself a Huge favor and buy a replacement battery from a cellphone dealer and NOT from Amazon .com.
These batteries are worthless junk and are almost like A Cheap Knock off !!!
Buyer be very aware !!
I only wish Amazon had a slot for NO STARS !!
