After 1 month, i am completely impressed with this boob tube.
Havent seen any of the banding problems with the picture, and have been impressed with the ease of use.
From what I have seen, this is one of the better 52 inchers in the market (that's what she said)

Purchased this TV about 1 year ago. Very happy with it. It does have faint vertical banding (only can see with a 10% solid gray test screen) but completely unnoticable in any normal viewing condition.

My family room has several skylights and is probably the brightest room in the house. Consquently I couldn't watch TV during the day. However, with the Sharp Aquos LC52D62U I have no problems at all. They said that LC TVs would minimize glare. This Sharp TV has no glare at all. I might add that the picture quality is excellent.

Bought this a year ago and it still has a great picture at 1080P HD. Analog signals look fair on all my LCD TVs. Never a problem and it is my main family room TV. I do not have the bars or anything else that others have so far. I also have a Sony and Philips and they are perfect also.

I purchaed this set for my wife as a value buy because of the low price per inch and the promissing specs it offers. We have a 50'' LG plasma in another room, so we were hoping to pick-up a set with similar picture quality. But what we got turned out to be a set with much better incredible picture quality - better contrast, colors, clarity... The Aquos cost half of what we paid for the LG plasma 2.5 years ago, but the features, appearence, and quality blow away any set I've seen so far.

I purchased this Li-Ion battery as a direct replacement for my original Motorola cell phone battery, and I have not been disappointed. Physically it appears to be an exact match. It fit the cell phone's battery compartment exactly, it charged using the original charger, and it holds its charge. I've had no problems with this replacement, and have left it in the phone since purchase. In summary, I have been pleased with both its performance and price.
