A Great Picture!.......2007-12-22
Our Toshiba Regza 52HL167 LCD HDTV from Amazon was well packed and was delivered right into our house. It worked great right out of the box! It had a sharp picture with amazing detail and bright colors when provided with a 1080p input from a cable box. The picture was also very bright and sharp with an input from a regular DVD played on a Panasonic VCR/DVD player with upconvert to 1080i.

Toshiba REGZA 52HL167 52" 1080p LCD HDTVThis is great TV with no weakness to mention of. I bought this TV after a lot of research on the similar products and found this to be one of the best especially at this price. This TV has been manufactured by the compnay who knows the HD technology and are the original creators of the HD players.
Some people have pointed out about its weakness to display the SD signal. But my observation is that it diplays it great. Although picture is a little edgy without upscaling but it is almost 80% as good as a HD signal after upscaling. Some other reviews have also pointed out high shades of green but all this can be set using the color master feature this TV has.
All n all a great TV. Go for it.

Best Bang for Your Buck.......2007-12-13
After spending weeks looking for a new LCD 1080p HDTVs, we finally decided to go with the Toshiba 52HL167 - 52" 1080p LCD HDTV. It has all the features we were looking for with a reasonable price. We also read many reviews online, and all of them were very positive. Nonetheless, we were still a little apprehensive when we order it because we never saw the pictures live. However, our fears promptly turned into excitement when we saw the HD pictures on the Toshiba. They were amazing! Even my wife, who doesn't care much about picture quality, got excited when she saw the HD channels.
Therefore, if you are looking for something with a reasonable price, yet still with great picture quality, I recommend you to get the this Toshiba. You can't go wrong with this TV. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with it. Now we we keep wondering when will all the channels be HD. :)

Great TV. Produces deep blacks. Great HD output. SD output could use some improvement, however, 480p digital signals aren't bad at all on this TV.
GET THIS VIA AMAZON'S EAGLE WHITE DELIVERY SERVICE! Ordered on a Wednesday, arrived on Monday. The service is great. The delivery guys came, unpacked the TV, carried my TV to TV stand, powered it up and ensured that there are no scratches on the TV and also made sure it works. They have you sign a form saying that you have received it and everything works as expected.
I am rating this 4 stars because i feel that the PC input should support 1080p. This is what i miss from my Westinghouse. I could use the 1080p support for my old Xbox 360 =\
