If you are less than one foot away, it works great. ANY other distance is exactly no changeat all. I recieved one bar of sevice all over my house before I installed it. I now recieve one bar of service all over the house unless I'm less than a foot away and then I recieve three bars. After all the sheetrock repair and the running it through my attic; it's just not worth the money to send it back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!!!!!!!
Very Dissapointing Performance.......2007-12-15
I had high hopes for this cell phone signal booster but was very disappointed in its performance and returned the item. I did get it to work by placing the antenna outside where the signal was marginal but would support a normal phone connection. The inside signal did work but the range was very limited and it sometimes dropped calls for no obvious reason. Amazon was very accommodating in taking it back but I'm frustrated and still looking for an affordable solution for my poor reception problem.

No other way to describe this product. Just switched from Verizon ( barely any signal in my house ) to T - mobile with a blackberry pearl and had NO signal. Took the antenna to the top of my house and attached it to the cupula ( florida house ) and ran the wire to my living room and now have 5 bars throughout my house. great product easy install. As long as you have a signal ( weak or strong ) your good to go

We used to get dropped calls all the time and now we don't. So it works, although it does take an hour or so to install and we did have to get additional cable since we have a 2 story home and installed the antenna on the roof. But well worth the time and money to finally be able to get a good signal in our home.

This device is a CDMA repeater.. if you don't get any bars inside, but get several bars outside.. it'll take that signal in. (The same applies if you get no bars outside. If that's the case, this won't help you make phone calls).
It allowed us to use our Sprint phones inside a house that was classically giving us 0 or no bars. (we get 2-3 outside). We now consistently get 2-3 inside while talking on the phone, and don't drop calls anymore.
