Amazing clarity ,superb sound ........2007-10-11
This center channel "Rocks" I'm using a Onkyo receiver TX-SR875 and this CC sounds as good as it gets crisp,clear and when it needs to bring it to you it will. It's main job is to reproduce dialog onscreen sound effects which it does superb. Also this thing is heavy and big I love the way it looks! I have it on a VTI stand and boy does it show power.

The D-Link ANT24-0801 is a Pico Cell Patch Antenna for wireless data transmission in indoor or outdoor environments. The ANT24-0801 provides 8.5dBi signal strength operating on 2.4,2.5 GHz ISM band (Industrial, Scientific and Medical). This provides wider range of wireless coverage to reduce the cost of running standard cable lines.The ANT24-0801 is a convenient way to extended wireless coverage to an existing 802.11b wireless LAN network. The ANT24-0801 can be used with the D-Link DWL-900 Access Point or wireless routers such as the DI-714 or DI-713P. The ANT24-0801 is weatherproof and made of corrosion-resistant material to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. The D-Link ANT24-0801 includes a swivel mount that allows pivotal adjustment for precise positioning for the most concentrated signal strength. The D-Link ANT24-0801 includes a Lightning Surge Protector and 1.6 feet of Extension cable.

D-Link ANT24-0801 - Additional inline amplifier is required.......2007-01-12
This antenna (and all D-Link high gain antennas) require an additional 1 watt inline amplifier in order to achieve the extended range as rated by D-Link. This will be an additional expense of approximately $300.00, purchased from a 3rd party. Without the amplifier the antenna(s) produce a signal at or below the standard antenna. Once the amplifier is installed the antenna works as rated. No where within D-Link's information or installation instructions do they inform you of this requirement. When I inquired from D-Link as to why I was no obtaining the range as rated, I received the following:
"To boost output you will need to use an amplifier. The Antenna is going to change the shape of the signal, and the direction. the problem with using an external antenna without an amp is the Router does not have enough power to push the signal through the extra media."
I then asked as to where within their documentation does it state that an amplifier is required, I received the following:
"The initial reply that you received that the router does not have a strong enough amplifier to push the signal to any great length is correct, unfortunately. The loss in signal strength that you noticed is possibly due to losses in the conversion cable. I do agree with you that does not seem to mention amplification in the product specs as you have pointed out. I shall talk it to a supervisor and see if there can be some mention of extra amplification might be needed, to get best results for APs."

We've only had it a few weeks, but we're very happy with it. We made a color print of a photo and it was gorgeous, better than our Canon Pixma inkjet printer.
Excellent but large printer.......2007-07-06
For an office color laser printer, the Xerox 6180N is an excellent value. It warms up relatively quickly, prints quickly, and the print quality is excellent. Although this is not really a photo printer, the photos in my memos and brochures are just what I wanted. The two factors that preclude a 5-star rating: (a) the toner is expensive and (b) the printer is exceptionally large and heavy.
I didn't work, and they wouldn't fix it........2007-03-18
I ordered the 6180DN, but when the 6180N (no duplexing) arrived three days late (next day shipping? forget it!), I decided to try it out anyway. The set-up video did not work on my new iMac. The written instructions, however, were fine. But when it came time to print, it didn't. I called Xerox, and they said the USB connection was probably defective. They gave me a case number and a phone number to call for support. I called that number repeatedly over four days, left them my home phone, my cell phone, and my email and large time blocks to call each time. No reply. Nothing! I spoke to the salesman, who promised me a call in the next two days. Nothing. He then told me in effect that Xerox had trained too few people to support this product. If you are looking for a printer that will not print, and a company that will not support it, then this is the printer for you.
