BEWARE!!! NEVER BUY A WESTINGHOUSE TV!!!.......2007-09-06
I bought a westinhouse LCD TV for over $1600 and the tuner went out after just 2 years!!! You will be greatly dissatisfied with a Westinghouse product, even if bought at a reasonable price. I called the Westinghouse customer service department and they basically said that they weren't going to fix the problem. This is the last time I buy a product from Westinghouse.

Buy Something Else.......2007-12-26
This has a lot of great features that I wanted, but (i) it doesn't put out much volume, (ii) the remote control is hard to work (press hard on the buttons, but not too hard; don't be too far from the unit; the Menu button doesn't work at all), and (iii) the first time I used it for a prolonged period, my iPod froze up bad (wouldn't play at all). The last one could just be a coincidence, but I'm taking it back before more problems erupt.

I have been very disappointed with the iLive Portable Boombox...the sound is very distorted and doesn't have a true stereo sound. A regular boombox from Wal-Mart has a better sound than this.

I bought this to take on my boat. The small size, broad feature list, great price, and decent Amazon reviews convinced me this was the right product. Unfortunately, this product failed miserably in the most important area: Sound Quality.
The sound is very thin and tinny. No bass, even with the built in bass enhancer set to the maximum. I set my iPod EQ to Bass Enhancer and this didn't help either. Believe me when I say I tried everything, i.e. various built-in EQs and iPod settings, but could not get acceptable sound. My wife (who admits she does not have an ear for detail) said the sound was just plain awful.
On the plus side, returning the product was easy. Amazon even covered the shipping costs. I simply selected "Does not meet my quality expectations" as the reason for returning it. I was surprised when the message appeared on my browser saying "Since this was our fault, we'll cover shipping", or something similar to that.
Bottom line, if you don't care about sound quality, then this is the box for you. On the flip-side, if you have even a slightly good ear for sound, then stay away.

Niles speakers Rock!.......2007-07-16
Just wanted to take a moment to complement these fine outdoor speakers. I was on my new patio the other night listening to various music and relaxing. These speakers are very versatile and sound as good as my Boston Acoustics speakers I have indoors. Admittedly they have been babied and only sit outside during spring and summer weather... But they deliver excellent sound quality for both low volume and high volume listening. Of course if you love bass you might have to go upscale a bit..but for me I am very pleased with the RS6s..
