I bought a Akai LCD TV 3 months ago. It is dead now. No sound and no picture. Their customer service was terrible, also. I will not ever buy this brand any more.

I bought this unit a few months ago......With HD sat. service it looks great!! The one let down being that this model does not have HDMI input, but other that that Video games in 1080I look amazing.....great buy

I had to return it to the store I bought it from. It had 2 problems: one, every 10 seconds or so the words Stereo and Mono appeared on the screen and the sound would be all messed up for about 2 seconds or so. I could not find anything in the manuals and pressing the MTS button did nothing. The customer service that I called knew nothing about it and could not help. Then a few days later the picture really messed up with the colors all run together and picture oblitterated. when i moved it the picture returned and a few minutes later that problem returned. I then returned it to the store very irate. They swapped it out for another one. Well that one also has the original problem and I dont think I can get my money back, so I will have to bite the bullet on this one and chalk it up to bitter experience and hope that this will help someone else from having my experience. I will try to cut my losses and buy another brand and shell out a few hundred bucks for a better and more reliable brand.

This holder is customized for the Panavise series of mounts (e.g. Panavise InDash Mount 04-06 Toyota Sienna) - and as such, it provides an excellent "total solution" to hold your phone in your car. The holder adds to the real estate on the dash, rather than blocking any of the controls that are there - and the position is excellent.
The holder itself could have been done better though (like, say, be designed for the 21st century). Most phones nowadays will be small enough that the two "ears" on the side will either grab the very top of the phone (as with mine: Motorola A1200 MING Phone (Unlocked)), or else not at all. As well, given that, the bottom rest is a bit too shallow; the phone tends to want to slide off the holder (unless you, like me, use the gravity of a charger cable to hold it back in place).

High Fidelity, High Price.......2007-06-09
I use two of these to help radiate subfrequencies down to 20 Hz (there's some rolloff to overlap a ULF system down to 5 HZ with). The amp is well matched to its driver, and linearity is very good. Testing shows quite a flat frequency response (plus/minus 1 dB, 30-80 Hz) and this is apparent in its solid (nothing fake) sounding/feeling punch. But its a rather high priced item for what it is. For those not interested in such higher radiated power, I'd suggest the Creative E-Mu 12 precision subwoofer.

great product but saw something cheaper .......2007-11-17
I purchased this about a month ago and have really been pleased with the simplicity and user friendliness. I tranfered around 80gb to it at one time and it worked pretty fast. However I was just shopping at BestBuy and saw some other external hard drives from Western Digital with even more memory (500gb) for around $100 which in my belief is a way better value :( but I guess that is the way it goes sometimes.
