Jabra C250 Boom Headset.......2007-11-17

This headset seems to be sturdy enough. Sound quality is good. It is difficult and awkward to use, though. Durability is my priority so I am satisfied with this headset.

Have had one of these before. My wife wanted one, and mine was getting beatup in my briefcase. They're comfortable, stay in the ear, good voice pickup. Great price.

Great until it breaks.......2006-12-30

I'm on my second one and the same thing just happened. The earpiece is great when it's working, but after about a year, just like my first one, there is a short or something as it goes in and out at first and now can't even hear anything through it(I have tested other earpieces, so I know it's not the phone). Just a heads up.

I compared many ear pieces before buying 2. This one is a little uncomfortable, but only because I have never found an ear bud style that wasn't - I prefer the foam pads. It does come with 4 different tips so everyone should find one that is suitable. The most important thing was the sound quality which was excellent for both the mic and ear piece. It was durable - I've done everything including leaving it in the sand overnite then stepping on it - and it still works after 6 weeks. The answer/end feature is very convenient, and worked fine with my SidekickII. Overall very pleased.

The Jabra EarWave is very easy to use. It comes with several earpiece styles so it is simple to find one to fit either ear. The hang up button on the bottom is a life saver. I have tried many different handsfree applicances and none fit as well or have as clear sound as this one. Price elsewhere for $30, Amazon has always offered a low price. You must be careful with it; the wires on the inside are easily broken as are the tips of the connector end.

The EarWave works great and does what it should. The problem I have and the reason why I gave it such a low score is because they usually do not last longer than three to six months. I use it in place of my bluetooth device and usually have to buy a new every few months. The wires begin to short out usually within the first six months.
