Cool-looking, but with flaws.......2006-03-02
My clear case did not come with a belt clip as promised, but a loop to pass a belt through. That's a big difference if you plan to just clip it on your shorts. Secondly, the case blocks you from using the hold button, and the iPod is constantly turning itself on in my bag and draining the battery. The Apple version of this, with the integrated headphones, sounds like a better option, especially because of accessibility to the hold button. But for the price difference, I guess I can't complain too much.

Guess What, PC speakers are a great, very very cheap way to add rich sound to your TV and DVD system without a receiver. If you don't want a big hassle, you can vastly improve any stereo TV by adding $25 to $70 powered PC speakers. Go for the sub woofer. There are several brands available here on amazon. If you want rear speakers, especially if you have a DVD player, go for this system. This is a full blown surround sound system without all the expense. It has lots of wires, because it has 5 speakers plus a subwoofer. The reason the wire ends are bare is so you can add more wire for optimal placement of the rear speakers. Its not much more and makes a BIG difference.

Sony 8gb Micro Vault is impressive.......2007-09-20
Hi, I have read several bad commentaries about this usb storage device on different websites and all I can say is I love mine !! It is not slow and I think anyone with half a brain would realize that even usb 2.0 h/s transfers will never be nicknamed lightning quick usb!! This tiny thing sure can hold a bunch of info and many mp3's even at 224k kbps. Like around a thousand at that high quality bitrate !! I never realized people are so impatient as to expect instant large file transfers out of any usb storage device !! For the low price you pay for one of these I think you will very content to own one of these miracles of science !!!

I bought this usb flash drive thinking that it was a Sony Micro Vault Turbo. Big mistake! Most companies making USB flash drives make two or more models that differ significantly in performance. This drive is Sony's slow model and you really don't want a large capacity flash drive this slow. It is hard to find performance specs for flash drives; you have to dig pretty hard and most slower models will not have performance specs published. Sony advertises write speeds of 18 MB/s for the Turbo model, one of the faster drives available. This drive tested at about 2 MB/s writing, a HUGE difference, almost a factor of 10 slower. I suggest you look elsewhere for a usb drive this large.
