Worse sound I have heard in a long time!.......2007-02-16
Speaker itself is plastic as well as the enclosure. It actually sounds better without the enclosure. Bass is bad, high frequency is unnatural. Could work OK for background music in an office.

Easy to install, great technical support........2006-11-21
I installed the product on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee in about five hours. It could have been installed in less time, but as this was my first installation I took my time to make sure everything was done right. Customer support was great, I had to call on several occasions and usually had my question answered in less than three minutes (the longest call took less than ten minutes on a Saturday afternoon). The range on the transmitter is pretty good, I was able to start the vehicle from inside a brick building from a good distance. I don't know how this compares with similar products, but this works well for me. Overall, I am very happy with this product, saving about two-thirds of the cost (over $100) by doing the installation myself.

Ideal replacement for users with 3C574-TX or 3C575-TX laptop network PC Cards. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the fact that 3Com uses properietary connections, which generally preclude the use of "generic" cables. Then again, considering the inexpensive nature, I certainly won't lose any sleep over it.
