WEP410 Sucks! and so much troubles with seller customer service.......2007-12-12
Follow up my previous comment. WEP410 is a piece of junk. Drop calls while the cell phone still has full signal strength. So much troubles that I decide not to use it any longer. Could be that I got a defective one but I can't return to the seller after 14 days.
Since I posted my first comments on the product, I've got calls from the seller trying to resolve the problem for me. They promised to send me the shipping label and instructions,via my email, for sending the wep410 to them and exchange for a new one in exchange for removing the comment that I posted on the review. But after a few calls from the seller customer service person and a call from me, I still don't receive any email at all. I even try to send him an email with the email address that printed on the shipping bill (customerservice@datavis.com), I got a return email because the address is invalid. Since then I decided not to contact them any more. I just have to take the loss. Don't want to wait time to resolve this any more. By the way, I did not remove my comments yet because I haven't received any email as promised.
My advice is be sure that you get your problem/issue take care first.

I am very much satisfied with the seller. Product was delivered within 2 days. The product I received was not functioning properly. After talking to the seller, I came to know that he is out of this product but can provide me with another one which is higher version of this with no extra cost. Got the new one and very much satisfied now.

i just bought this amazon and it was a fake version of the WEP410 bluetooth. It worked but it didn't charge. It said "Anycall" on the box verifying that it was fake no authenticity sticker or anything. Buttons were black instead of silver and it did not come with the extra ear plugs. BEWARE!!!!!! i'm furious I thought I was getting a deal.

I purchased another headset that just didn't work very well, and was hard to use. This one is fantastic. It has great sound quality and very good volume. I also like that I can put it on with one hand, which you can't do with most other headsets.
WEP410 - Bestest Bluetooth Headset Ever.......2007-08-26
I've purchased many Bluetooth headsets, in hopes of finding a really qualitative one.
I've got Plantronix, Motorola and Jabra Bluetooth headsets.
BUT, one day I was in Best Buy, and I saw the Samsung WEP410's size; and I thought to myself that it'll probably have "less than crisp" transmit audio, with as equally poor receive volume as Motorola and Jabra. And then, I'd just add it to my collection of inferior product, sitting in a box in the basement.
I'm an entertainer; and I was due in New York for a concert appearance on Saturday, August 18th (the day after I purchased my WEP410) at 8:00 AM for a show time starting at Noon.
At 7:15 AM, with my cell phone set on auto-answer and my WEP 410 underneath my motorcycle helmet, traveling at 75 MPH on the New Jersey Turnpike, when I received a call from my sister, from the venue that I was due at, she seemed upset, saying that she couldn't believe that I was still at home; and that I was due there (for sound checks and wireless mike distance checks)in less than an hour.
When I told her that I was en-route, and that I was talking with my new headset underneath my motorcycle helmet, again, at 75 MPH, she said that it sounded as if I was speaking from home (I have my home calls forwarded to my cell, when I'm not at home).
It wasn't as if I had told anyone that I purchased a new headset and they were trying to make me feel good about my purchase.
The transmit quality is "landline quality". The receive clarity and volume are equally as impressive.
Motorola and Jabra could take a well needed lesson from the Samsung WEP-410.
The only thing that one has to get used to with the WEP-410 is that you don't hear your own voice, when you are speaking. That took about 5 minutes to get used to. BUT, it's vastly superior quality more than compensates for that battery saving feature.

this is not the real 410 guys its actually the fake one i just received one and i'm furious. beware of what you buy, they're s a lot of fake blue tooths out there.

Nice drives - I bought 2 of them.......2005-12-04
I have TWO of these babies in my computer (cost about $125 each), and they run like a charm. What I really love with Maxtor has nothing to do with the drives themselves. I love the software Maxtor gives free of charge that will make a carbon copy of an entire drive. Backing your system up, or upgrading from an old drive, is EZ as 1, 2, 3! No complaints. Money well-spent. Whether it's reliable or not, is too early to tell, and on that issue I must defer to more experienced consumers... and for the record? The number of other manufacturers besides Maxtor putting a 16 mb cache on their 250 gb drives is : ZERO. The standard at this time is 8 mb. Whether it really and truly makes a diff, I can't say, but at least Maxtor has a better spec.

Personally I own 3 Maxtor Drives. 1 is not 8 years old and hasn''t failed me yet, however it did replace a previous that went bad sector nuts in less than a month so there is always the chance.
I recently got this drive and bought an external drive kit for it (USB 2.0) and the drive outperforms my internal drive considerably. Tryin to decide now if I want to pick up another as I do a lot of video to DV transfers and this makes for great storage.
With all that said thou. Make sure you have a backup of all important data as you can potentially run into issues as with any PC part.
Maxtor's ata133 drives rock.......2004-06-05
I installed a maxtor ata133 (7200rpm, 8mb cache) on the 133 interface of a new asus mbd (the p4r800-v), and got transfer rates, in real apps, that blew away my previous speed demon (which cost more btw, was no slug, and was ata100 with 7200rpm 8mb disks). ata133, with a real 133 controller, is indeed a real improvement.
