Great Headphones.......2007-10-21
These headphones are great. They have good distance, good battery, and excellent sound-- on their stereo feature. I have not tested the voice features.
A little about this item........2007-10-08
I like these headphones, but they bother/hurt my ears to wear them properly. I have to hang them off the tops of my ears so not to hurt my ears. I am a little disappointed with the distance/range they have. I think they have trouble picking up signal through walls, but they do not reach the full thirty feet they say they do. Also I think it depends on the power of the device you are listening to as to how high the volume gets. With my computer they work great, and are loud, but I do not have volume control. With my psp I had some signal lose for a little bit, but it seemed to correct itself, and also no volume control. With my mp3 player they barely work at all. I get an interrupted signal constantly, and low volume with no control over it either. I run them with the Anycom Bluetooth Audio Gateway (Bag-100) I got separately. I must say that with the pc they work great except for distance. With the psp they are good as well except the volum could be higher, but over all I am satisfied.
This is not the current model.......2007-09-30
The model being sold is from the first generation in appearence and the second generation in electronics. The difference between the two is the hard frame between the ear pieces which becomes a wire in the second, giving a modern 767 airline feel to the headset. I prefer the hard frame so the fact I got a first generation headset was OK. The second generation electronics had me going to the website to get the latest codes for the LED. There seems to be some issues with the microphone and scatternet. Since I don't try to answer phone calls while listening to audio those are non-issues to me.
Anycom Bluetooth Headphones.......2006-11-23
This product is well designed and works easily with my Motorola bluetooth usb adaptor (which uses Broadcomm software). There is an optional Anycom "general audio gateway" BAG-10 which works with any 3.5 mm audio jack. You can find it at [...]. The "one star" review could have solved their problem using this device. The anycom site says that the headphones come bundled with the audio gateway, but I didn't see this until after I had bought the set.
Pluses: It has an easily removable and exchangable battery and a kit is availible with another charger and battery, although I've never run it out of juice...
When used with a general bluetooth usb adaptor (on a Windows XP machine), the buttons control WinDVD and the Windows Media Player to pause, stop, and move between chapters.
I had to "pair" it without the microphone installed for those features to work, but that may have been something I did, or didn't do...
It comes with a mic so you can use it with a phone. And it switches to the phone and pauses the music on the pc, and then switches back when the call is ended.
Another really nice feature is that the behind the head plastic piece is removable and can be replaced with included eyeglass style ear hooks. They are far preferable when laying down.
In general, the set is much better than the Logitech bluetooth product, which broke in the middle of the behind the head piece after about a week of use, and only has a behind the head mode. It hurt to use laying down, but only for a week!
Minuses: the two drawbacks are the price, compared to the ~$30 usd Logitech product, and the sound, compared to a good set of over the ear headphones. But when you're using headphones in public, a good set of over the ear headphones are kind of anti-social, and I couldn't find a set of bluetooth ones, anyway.
Do NOT buy for iPaq use!.......2006-06-09
I have an iPaq RX3115. It finds the headphones via bluetooth OK, but says "This device does not have any usable services". I contacted tech support, which actually answered the phone, but didn't know anything. They just search the tech support site for an answer.
They said my iPaq must need new software, but I am up to date with bluetooth drivers and it still won't work.
Basically, the tech support guy said sorry, you're on your own, so the headphones are going back to Amazon. I looked at their tech forum (buyers with problems asking each other for help) and noted the same problem for several other models of iPaq.
If they worked, I would probably give 4 or 5 stars. The contruction is good and they are designed well, but if they make no sound, whats the point? Don't buy these unless you are sure they will work, but there is no way to do that, so, DON'T BUY!

Customer Reviews:
It works!.......2007-07-21
My Seagate Ultra ATA hard drive bit the dust back in May, so I decided to try the new SATA drives while I was updating anyway. My motherboard doesn't support SATA, so I bought this card along with two Western Digital Caviar SATA drives so I could try running mirrored drives.
The computer I was rebuilding is intended to run Windows XP. Getting the new drives and adapter to work wasn't without a hitch. In order to make the SATA drive bootable you have to get XP setup to recognize the SATA drive. XP doesn't come with any SATA drivers, so prior to XP installation you need to put the SATA drivers on a 3.5" floppy so that when XP setup starts, you can hit the F6 key to install 3rd party RAID or SCSI drivers. The disk that I made of the CD included with the SATA card did not work--I got an error message. I had to go to Buslink's website and download the drivers called "Drivers for SATA PCI Adapter". I copied those, minus the RAID installation executable (it won't fit on a floppy anyhow) onto my 3.5" floppy and I was past that hurdle.
Once past that, Windows XP would not boot off the SATA drive. I got the error message "Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information." [...].It booted, I finished installing XP, and now I'm off and running.
In brief, installation required a couple workarounds, but no more than expected when installing a product that is newer than Windows OS that you're running. It runs great and was very inexpensive. I've very pleased with this card.
