My wife bought this for me as a Christmas gift to use in my den. I expected less-than-good sound quality due to the price, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only is the sound quality very nice - it also has some nice features layed out very well. The clock with alarm, am/fm radio, and remote are nice extras for what I just basically use to play my iPod on. The price even makes it all that much sweeter.
Warning: If you've recently purchased a 30 or 80 gig video iPod make sure you keep the adapter that is included in the packaging. I didn't pay any attention to what it was when I bought mine and almost trashed it. This player has several adapters included, but when I got mine it referred you to your iPod packaging to have the appropriate adapter kit.
This may not have the sound of a Klipsch or Bose system, but it is very good at 1/3 to 1/2 of the price.
