Probably the best for the money.......2007-10-18
I've tried several different brands of noise canceling headphones and some are better than others. I picked up this Jensen product because my "more expensive" headphones got broken on my last trip. I really only intended to use them once then I was going to fix or replace my originals.
I used the Jensens on a six hour flight and I was suprised to discover that they were every bit as good as the set I paid nearly 4 times the money for. They are comfortable and do a good job of filtering out the drone of the aircraft engine. The adaptor for the airplane audio system fit perfectly. The headphones fold up nicely for storage.
The bottom line as far as I'm concerned is that I wish I would have known about these headphones before I spent the money on my "good set". Great headphones for way less money.
I don't think these work.......2005-12-22
I received these headphones yesterday and besides putting pressure on my eardrums that makes me feel like I have a slight ear ache I don't think these actually cancel any noise.
I did a lot of research on noise canceling headphones before I purchased them. I understand that active noise canceling only cancels noise in certain frequencies and that they won't completely block out the outside world. As far as I can tell all these headphones do is make the music a little louder and the bass a little deeper. I've tried them on the bus, in my car and in a noisy server room. In none of these places have I really noticed any difference in ambient noise.
I would not purchase these headphones and I'm going to see if I can return the ones I purchased.

best ipod nano case.......2007-07-22
After reviewing all the possible cases for an ipod nano, this is by far the best in my opinion. It's classy, well made, won't scratch the ipod or get scratched like a hard case will. I was looking for a case that had a lanyard I could wear around my neck (I was afraid of losing a wristlet type of lanyard), since I'm female and don't frequently wear a belt for using a belt clip. This case has a lanyard and a belt clip. The lanyard is detachable. If you prefer a carabiner clip, one could easily be attached to the loop provided for the lanyard. The nano fits nicely into the case (I have a 4 G), and the lock switch, earphone port, and power button are easily accessible while the ipod is in the case. The ipod screen is protected, and the screen is clearly visible while in the case. The case itself has a cover with a magnetic snap that works superbly. Some reviewers of various cases found it a con that the cases didn't allow for docking the ipods while in a case, but I don't think that is so important. When I have to dock my ipod, I don't find it that troublesome to remove it from the case. The ipod is easily removed and inserted into this case.
