THIS HEADPHONE RADIO IS PROBABLY THE MOST COMFORTABLE RADIO I'VE EVER HAD. IT'S GREAT TO TAKE TO A BALLGAME TO LISTEN TO PLAY-BY-PLAY, HAS CRISP AND DEEP SOUND AND IF YOU USE THE CONNECTOR TO USE WITH AN IPOD OR OTHER MP3 DEVICE THE SOUND IS PHENOMINAL!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
POSITIVES:
BEHIND THE EAR DESIGN IS QUITE COFORTABLE, PORTABILITY, CRISP SOUNDS, DEEP BASS AND WEIGHT.
NEGATIVES:
YOU HAVE TO RECHARGE IT OFTEN TO KEEP THE BATTERY CHARGED SO THAT YOU WONT LOOSE YOUR PRESET STATIONS AND SETTING THE PRESETS A LITTLE COMPLICATED.

I purchased this unit with the intention of using them at football games to listen to the local play-by-play. Well, I saw them online and thought "What a great idea!", boy was I wrong.
I took them out of the box and eagerly attempted to put them on. To my dismay I could not get the little earpiece clips to keep them on my ears. As far as the sound, I think they actually did a decent job of pulling in signals. However, in order to enjoy the sound you must be able to keep them on your head - and these don't. It's a fantastic concept, but an unfortunate bad design from the start. I've never said this about any Sony before, but skip this product.

unfortuately, i saw the review on these sony
headphones after i had already ordered them. the other
review which says how useless these are is making an
understatement. the little plastic earclips won't even
hold the headphones on. a great concept but just
a plain terrible design!! sound??? who knows, they
won't stay on your ears. i can't believe sony let
this out. further i can't believe sharper image didn't
check this product out before selling it
What were they thinking?.......2004-05-10
My wife likes to listen to the radio as she walks so I thought I would get her this for Mother's Day. However, when she opened the package the poor design of this product became immediately apparent. As small and light as this radio is, when you put it on your ears, it pulls your ears down so you look like a floppy-eared dog! Plus, after some slight jarring (as from walking-its intended purpose after all!) it falls off! No amount of finangling with the setup could make this radio work as intended!
To add insult to potential injury (having your ears look as if you're wearing "the flying nun's" habit!), the reception is awful! Stations that are close by sound as if they were coming in via shortwave and distant stations, well forget it, they didn't come in at all!
All in all, a high-tech radio with low-tech problems. Take this one back to the drawing board Sony!

The Rhinoskin for my Ipod Video is perfect. It fits snug to protect it from movement during transport. The Case serves as an excellent protector. Easy access to the ports for my headphone/speaker hookup & for my USB cable. I also love how it stands up on the small rubber feet/pads on the bottom which is great for when I have it plugged into my CD player headphone jack. I am very pleased with this item.
Good Protection, Average Clip, but Looks Really Cool!.......2006-02-16
The case that came with my 60 GB Ipod Photo, broke and I purchased this as a replacement. This case fits my Ipod Photo perfectly and protects it with padding on the inside of the case. Extra strips of padding are included for slimmer Ipods. The case's window protects the screen and is non-obtrussive. The case protects while allowing access to all controls and ports. The clip is your typical bulky, black plastic piece. But the best thing is it looks really cool. The Aluminum matches that of my 17" G4 Powerbook. I would buy this case again.
