This is an IBM product famous for its high standards and superior quality.You now have additional bays - two media bays for tape options and other SCSI devices. Bays support 4mm DAT options providing a capacity of 4GB uncompressed or 10GB compressed of data. Security system prevents unauthorized access to your drives and data with a lockable door. There are up to five hot-swap drives supported with a maximum drive capacity of 45.5GB. It also contains two 5.25-inch half-height media bays for installation of one or two 4-mm DAT Tapes in the media bays, each providing 4GB uncompressed capacity (10GB compressed), five hot-swap disk drive bays. The disk drive bays can hold any combination of the following disk drive options available in hot-swap trays: 9.1GB disk drive, 4.5GB disk drive, 2.2GB disk drive and 1.1GB disk drive.
