I own a pair of Heresy II's, the absolute fidelity of this product from softly playing in the background to rippin loud home theater is amazing.

These speakers will put out 97/Db 1 watt one meter, which is far more than the total output of many of it's competitors, so they never really strain when it comes to Jazz, Home theatre or just rock music. The max capability of these is 118 db, really near the threshold of pain, but you never need to take 'em that far, they are clear and articulate at all volume levels. The Heresy III's go at 99/Db 1 watt one meter. the additon of titanium to the horn drivers was a great idea.

The Heresy, originaly designed in 1957 partially as an over the proscenium speaker projects sound well, with clarity and with great detail. So you may ask why is this speaker so expensive, easy, it is worth it, there are few speakers out there that can do what these little boxes do. The wood is real, not veneer and particle board, the quality of sound is unrivaled.

Klipsch has been making speakers for 60 years, making them the oldest American speaker manufacturer, each speaker comes with a sticker on the back stating who inspected them and when, and the Heritage series (Klipschorn, Cornwall, LaScala and Heresy are still made that way in the USA, no overseas parts from LBO vendors. Great sound, great quality...buying the Heresy is an investment, one which will last you a lifetime, my Heresy II's are around 20 years old, they are now driven through the SPDIF output on my computer's sound card, plugged into a new Yamaha receiver and sound as good as the day I bought them. The digital age just gave them a new way to shine.

Way better than the original.......2007-06-01

Receiver has worked flawlessly since install. Much nicer than the receiver I got originally. Cool car design showing points were impact or tampering occurred. Amazing range and confirmation. Cool blue and orange LEDs that light up during confirmation along with vibration and beeping. Definately a good buy. I'll probably get another one as a backup.

My original remote died on me when it dropped on the floor. This spare remote works great and looks good.
