The package consists of two main devices, a Bluetooth version 2.0 USB adapter and a Bluetooth Headphone. The bundled AmbiCom Bluetooth version 2.0 Class 2 USB adapter allows you to communicate and transfer data 4 times faster than the Bluetooth version 1.2 devices at a whopping bandwidth of 3Mbps. The new AmbiCom Bluetooth version 2.0 Class 2 USB adapter also utilizes the latest USB specification v2.0, which boosts the transfer rate to 480 Mbps between the USB adapter and the host computer with the same equipment specification, as well as allowing multiple connections between different devices without bottlenecking the bandwith.

Sorry but.......2007-03-20

If the manufacturer wants to sell this product then they should fix the driver software that runs it. Each time I stick the bluetooth dongle in my usb port it completely rediscovers and reinstalls the software. After that you need a reboot or log off and back on to get it to work. Then it works with some things but not others. For instance, it works great for walking around the house listening to music or videos. But when you log onto yahoo messenger is just stops working and the sound and speaker built into my notebook take over when the drivers for the headset abort without warning. For music the sound is not that high quality. So I don't recomend getting them for that only. Its yet another hardware vendor with screwed up drivers and they don't update them to fix them. Or maybe thats impossable. Shame on them for not updating the drivers for stablilty. So sad but that problem appears to be an industry trend.
