Functions well and the color is fairly accurate.
The portrait format makes it difficult to place on a desk that is not that deep and it is noisy.
The Epson equiivalent would have been a better choice, similar cost but it's quiet, fast and has a better photoshop interface.
Also, an annoying thing: the underside of the lid is black which makes it difficult to scan drawings on trace paper. The Epson has a white underside.
