Almost had me fooled.......2006-10-08

I got the Maxtor One Touch III drive about 5 or 6 months ago, and from the moment I got it, it performed flawlessly. Then, as of about a week and a half or two weeks ago, it started crashing intermittently.

At first, it crashed every other day or so, but for the last two or three days, it has escalated to the point that the drive is now crashing every thirty minutes to an hour.
