Sounds okay indoors, but tangles easily.......2007-01-03
I use these headphones primarily for audiobooks. In that capacity, the sound is perfectly adequate if you are indoors. I would not recommend these for outdoor use, or in noisy environments. Sony's "closed ear" design studio monitor headphones work better in those cases. These Sony headphones are also on sale at Amazon, or were at the time of this review.
For music the Jensen's are not spectacular, but are certainly no worse than any other "over the ear" design I have used.
My principal objection is that a section of the headphone wire is coiled, as in an old landline phone cord. To a degree this coiling functions as designed because it does reduce headphone cord pullout, however, when storing these in a pocket or anywhere else the coiled section is almost guaranteed to become very tangled with the non-coiled sections of the headphone's wires. As a result you'll spend about five minutes untangling headphone wires every time you pull these out to be used. Assuming you'd use these for extended periods indoors without removing them, I'd say they are worth buying. In other applications I would find a non-coiled set.

I bought this at the mall on clearance for 15.99 thinking I nabbed a serious bargain. The reception is SO poor that there is static even when the units are in close proximity. I tested it in many applications - it's completely useless.

Got this at half the price but why paying for something that just dont work ? I've tried my pc and 2 stereos with it on all available frequency and couldnt hear a thing unless the thing is literally touching the back of the stereo where the antenna is, and yes, I mean touching it. Touching the front of the stereo wont even give a sound. I cant believe a company could put such a garbage on the market. Just unpacked it and will return it tomorrow. I was forced to select at least 1 star but for the first time of my life I would have give a review of 0 for that thing. Im totally amazed at how company think they can sell anything to consumers...

I bought an RCA MM70FM transmitter to use in the car with my Creative Zen Nano. I've tried two different cars and a home stereo and cannot get it to work with any of them. If the 88.X band in your area has any local radio stations broadcasting in it, this device will simply not work. It's designed to conform to FCC codes, which means it has to accept "intereference" from other sources, meaning the radio stations will override the frequency and overpower your little MP3 player or CD player, resulting in signal quality that ranges from poor to non-existant.
Avoid this product. The limitation to the 88.X band and the poor signal strength result in it being useless for anyone in a metro area.

I can't believe the signal is no stronger than it is. Usually, people would want to buy a device like this so they can hear music, not static. I purchased this and am quickly returning it. I get better reception from AM stations. Take my advice and spend a bit more for a better transmitter.

This is the first of these drives that I have bought, so I don't know a whole lot about them. What I can say is that I have been happy with it so far (I bought it a couple of weeks ago). You just plug it into the USB port and start dropping files into it. No problems. The one negative aspect is the ring that it attaches to so you can put it on your key ring. It keeps falling out of the unit making the drive very easy to lose. I decided to epoxy the ring that comes in the package directly to the drive. It shouldn't be coming off again any time soon.
