The pain........2005-06-13

These headphones I wouldn't recommend for listening for long periods of time! I bought them today and was hoping they would be halfway decent. The sound is ok.. I mean it's not the best but it's good enough for the price I paid for them. Wearing glasses and these headphones just don't mix whatsoever. My ears were sore after listening to them for a while.. it was horrible. I find these headphones less comfortable than my Philips HS430 headphones. Personally, I liked the Koss UR-15c headphones (my previous headphones) better than these.

These headphones are simply put, the best headphones I have ever used. They way it generates music is incredible. I have a pretty small head and I was surpised to find out that it fit me. It can fit even large sized heads. It fits regular CD Players and comes with an adapter that fits onto the regular CD Player plug-in. That adapter fits into bigger-sized outlets that you usually find on bigger stereos. I find these headphones really comfortable, even for long periods. That is something that I wanted to make sure of when I bought them....because I like to listen to music for long periods of time. I plugged the headphones into my computer to see how they worked. At the time I was playing a game (Zoo Tycoon). And the headphones made it seem like I was right there inside the game. There was sounds coming from all around me it seemed. I just couldn't believe how real the headphones made the game seem. So these headphones aren't just great for music, but for games as well.....I can't wait to see how well the headphones work with handheld game systems such as GameBoy. I'm not sure that it is possible to purchase headphones any better than these. I would rate them a 10 if it was possible-that's how great they are.

No windows 64 support.......2007-05-02

I purchased this for the same reason the other reviewer did - middle of the road price. Big mistake!

Despite their advertising drivers for Windows 64 bit, they don't support Vista-64 at all. They also don't support Windows XP Professional 64 bit with Intel! When tech support is contacted, the basic response is tough luck - you have choosen the wrong processor, we only support AMD!

Avoid this product if you need future-proofing. And it calls into question Promise Technology in general.
