I've tried many earbuds and the MX400 are hands-down the best value for the money. The sound is crisp and well-balanced. They're also highly efficient so that they produce enough volume for noisy environments like airplanes.
What I especially love about these earbuds is the way they reproduce bass. I'm a bass player and I love the detail that these earbuds show in the bass. With the MX400 I can listen to a song and immediately recognize "he's playing a Fender Jazz using a heavy pick on flatwound strings." They are that good. But that might not be for you. There are a lot of people who don't care about such things and instead prefer exaggerated, underdamped bass. If that's you then skip the MX400. To each his (her) own.
As with any buds of this type the frequency response will vary depending on how tightly the drivers couple with your ear canal. This depends on how far you press the buds into your ear, and what your ear is shaped like.
Yes, there are better earbuds out there, but for less than the cost of a medium pizza these are great.

As far as I know, this in-ear headphone and MX500 are very famouse for their sound not only in the USA but all over the world. The sound is very clear with good performance of high and mid frequency. The bass is not very loud(compared to my famous koss porta pro, i think no in-ear headphone can say has loud bass...) but has great quality, better than koss porta pro and my sony in-ear headphone. I think this sound worth more than $30. At this price, I believe some phone can beat it in appearence, but never in sound.
Besides, the phone comes with ipod does not even have a chance to compare with this.

I've tried many, many headphones over the years and these are by far the best. I actually ordered several so that I would always have them available if something should happen to a pair. (That being said, the ones that came with my MP3 player are still working great and its been three years.)

I was quite surprised to find these ear phones for $11. They are much better than the i pod earphones, the high frequency notes are surprisingly clear....and they have just the right amount of bass. After using the HD280 for a couple of months i was quite sure of the quality of Sennheiser and this does not disappoint

I bought these on the Marketplace for about $8 shipped. They deliver a very accurate high-range and midrange. Bass is somewhat lacking, but better than just about all other earbuds that don't form a seal around the ear canal. If you're looking for earbuds that provide an accurate experience in all audio ranges, I suggest the ER-6i by Etymotic Research.
In short, anything better than these will get very pricey.

I bought this to replace my old 256MB (still working despite extensive abuse) thumb drive. Well, I've had it for about a month now and it's dead. In the course of one afternoon it went from loading up every time I put it in a computer to being "An unrecognized device" in every computer I put it into (it was a gradual process over a couple hours strangely enough). This is the first product I've ever bought from dane electric, and it will surely be the last. Next time I'll pay more attention to the brand name and go with a better known brand rather than price.
Oh, and I'll also toss out there that I've been using computers for 20 years now, and have been building computers for many years, so it's not a case of computer literacy.

I purchased one of these and it went bad after about two months. Unfortunately, I've spent hours trying to get Dane-Elec to replace it, with no luck. I never get replies to notes sent to their techsupport e-mail address, and when I call them I always end up in the voice mail of someone who never returns my calls. I'd suggest another manufacturer.

The ring fell off within days, so I had to carry it in my hand or in a pocket. The cap kept falling off as well. There are other flash drives out there that do a better job of staying intact, so I'm buying a different one.
