I have a Vaio with XP2 on it. This USB floppy disk drive installed in seconds -- no having to look for drivers or anything. I put a diskette in and it read the first time. I'm using it to archive the photos that I took on a Sony Mavica in 1999 - 2001 to a USB external hard disk drive. I love the small size so that I can put it in my equipment box and keep it clean until the next time I need to transfer old files from diskette to the latest technology. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Recently I found myself in desperate need of a floppy drive. I needed access to a file that was on an old 3.5 inch Floppy. I had somehow never gotten around to transferring it to CD. This little portable floppy drive saved the day! If you are running XP or Vista, you just plug the drive in to an available USB port and you are ready to go. Both my laptop and desktop recognized the drive immidiately.It's a 2X drive, so it reads and writes fast. The drive comes with a stand so you can set it on your desk either flat or virtically. It also comes with both a black and a sliver snap on cover. My only complaint is the USB cable is hard wired to the drive and it is very short,(2 feet).

The best budget case you can buy........2006-06-15
First off, it is a very elegantly designed case, with high quality leather on the outside, and suede on the inside, with the "Lamborghini" logo engraved on the inside.
Headphones, dock connector, click wheel, and hold button are all easily accessable. Although, sometimes the top part of the case gets stuck behind the iPod headphone cord, but you can bend the cord out of the way easily. The top part is also detatchable (although I don't know why you'd want to).
The screen cover is passable- Not crytal-clear, yet it is easy to see through. It reminds me of the Nintendo DS touch screen in its level of clarity.
To top it all off, it has quite a bit of padding, and it feels like if you dropped it off a 5 story building onto concrete (DONT do that), your iPod would be unharmed.
If you wan't a high-quality iPod case at a low price, this is the one for you!!
