After a while the cushions wear out, so you need to replace them.. (duh)... especially when you wear the headphones while walking and they absorb sweat. Keep some replacements on hand. You might think replacement cushions are easy to find, but they aren't (especially for the Porta-Pros). Save yourself some grief and keep new cushions in stock.

The Electro-Voice EVI-15 loudspeaker is a factory assembled system featuring a small-format Vari Intense horn and a 15-inch direct radiator in a vented enclosure. The EVI-15 is intended to be used as a standalone full-range system, but may also be used as the mid-basshigh frequency component in most multi-way loudspeaker systems. The EVI-15 consists of a proprietary castframe 381-mm 15-in. high power, longexcursion low-frequency driver mounted within a vented chamber of 3.4 cubic feet, optimally tuned to provide unequalized lowfrequency response to below 50 Hz. The high-frequency complement consists of a 25.4-mm 1.0-in. exit compression driver utilizing a new small format Vari Intense horn. Vari Intense is a revolutionary patented6 technology that throws a 6 to 10-dB hotter signal to the back of the room. This compensates for the drop in SPL over the longer distance to the back of the room 25 feet for the short throw and about 70 feet for the long throw in a typical room. The system is provided with a 2,000-Hz passive crossover featuring self setting tweeter protection and asymetric acoustic slopes with passive lobe steering for uniform coverage throughout the crossover region. The enclosure is constructed from 19-mm 0.75-in. thick, thoroughly braced 7-ply birch plywood lined with soundabsorbent glass wool. Five 38-16 shoulderbolt hanging points are provided for safe suspension of the EVI-15. There are two hanging options recommended. The optional UBracket hanging kit, MB-EVI15 is available for use with the 38-16 T nut locations on the side of the enclosure along with a single pullup strap located on the lower back of the enclosure. Some problems but decent overall.......2007-12-18
ive had this printer for about a year. It came free with a pc purchase, so i will be basing my review on that fact.
The negatives of this printer are that it is extremely noisy. Ive never heard of another printer this loud.
Its very cheaply made so you have no physical adjustments. hp claims that this has a ink level viewer, but even after updating to a different driver, i still have not been able to locate it.
The pluses are that the quality for b/w is great. setting the highest dpi on a grayscale image gives you a nice print. I have used it for printing stickers/decals.
The color print on the other hand isnt good. it drenches the paper with ink so you have color bleed and smudging... that obviously leads you to another issue with ink cartridge life. Ive printed perhaps 30 high quality b/w/color (roughly 20% cover on each page) and have already replaced the color cartridge three times and black twice.
The cartridges themselves are about normal price for any printer.
The speed on low quality images is slow... even worse on quality items. If you are looking for just a basic cheap printer, this will suit your needs. if you have a business or are looking to print high demand high quality pages, this isnt for you.

i own a Co and i send out a LOT of letters and i use this printer to print out address and it pumps them out great printer for the price
Poor reliability: What a Piece of Junk!.......2007-04-02
I opened the box yesterday and I got several problems after then. First of all, the installation CD is bundled with ton of software and it took more than 100MB just to install the driver I really want, I don't understand why HP forces the user to install so many garbage products on user's machine?! Once I installed the software and wired the cable properly and then tried to print, most times it didn't work at all and keep saying paper jam. I then called HP product support line and they didn't solve problem at all.
I used Epson and Canon print before and never find any problem. Shame on HP for producing such a poor product. Save your money and buy other products!
The Print quality is excellent, but it still has its problems........2007-03-04
I got this printer free with the computer I bought for Christmas. The print quality is very good and of course, I can't really complain considering it was free. However, the ink warnings this thing gives you can get extremely annoying. I'm still going on my 1st color ink cartridge, and from about a month ago, it's been giving me warnings that the color is low and should be changed, when it prints fine! I guess this can also be considered a pro because it means you get more ink than you think, but it's obvious they make these warnings come up just to get you to buy another ink cartridge and waste money when the other one is still perfectly fine.A warning comes up every time when I want to print and when I start my computer up and they cannot be disabled! Other than that though, it's a good printer. I've only had one paper jam thus far.
Inexpensive little printer.......2007-02-21
This printer did not cost much, but the quality of the prints it turns out are excellent! I don't use it for high quality photos - I have a die sublimation printer for that - but it does a great job on things like lecture notes and general photography.
