I have had this maxfile hard drive for several months. Initially I was impressed to the extent that I recommended them to my office. Then the USB attachment started breaking off, even with minimal use. This is not a product for heavy use; even though with the high price tag I expected it to be more sturdy.
This is a very fragile device; it was built to break so you may purchase another.
Even after a few months, I started having problems with Vista recognizing the device. Overall, I would say buy this product, but expect it to fail at anytime.
