Great for On-The-Go.......2007-12-10
These things are pretty much attached to my mp3 player. Whether walking to work, or in the gym, these are my go to guys. They have really great sound for their low profile. They fit very well and stay put, no matter if walking or running. They surprisingly can hold bass very well!
I wouldn't recommend these as home headphone, for that, go a lot higher up the chain that Sennheiser offers or any other of the great headphone makers.
But if you want something for your mp3 player on the go, for the gym, etc. But don't want to hear all treble (and sometimes distorted) with no bass. Then grab these.
I've had them about a year now, and holding up great, and I sweat on em a bit at the gym!.
Oh and worth noting, the cord is pretty long. But not TOO long. Perfect length.

With behind the neck/head style headphones I think it's difficult to create a product that fits everyone exactly the same and exactly how they feel comfortable.
With seinheisers somewhat delicated design, they struck a balance between durability and flexibility. These headphones swivel on a ball bearing type of joint that allows the pads to assume different angles for the shapes of different heads, at the same time the band itself is pretty well reinforced with the metal ribbon that keeps the phones pressed to your ears (which goes a long way in transmitting the amazing bass of the speakers themselves)
Getting to the sound.. WOW. The sound is superb. I love it. It blows everything in its class away. These are probably, as purely a prediction, the best sounding behind the neck headphones out there.
The reason I can't give them 5 stars is due to two factors: the aformentioned questionable durability (on account of the delicate ball bearing style joint and overall fine mechanics of the headphone which limit it's use to outside of the gym imo and also demand a higher degree of care than say a pair of sony mdr-g42's)
But also, the fit is a little but low on the ear, (on me, might be perfect for you). In addition, it sometimes requires a pushed back or up as it's prone to slip too low on the lobe. This only happens once-in-a-while if you make any hard or sudden bumps. If you walk around or sit in a bumpy car with these on, that could be a nuisance, but if you're just sitting in a quiet place studying with them on, or at home reading a book with them on, there's hardly ever an issue of adjusting the fit.
That said, I recommend this most to someone who demands better sound quality out of their headphone for study/desk work/chill situations and must have the behind the neck fit to keep that hair style intact, but for the gym I recommend you keep a pair of something else, these badboys are a little bit high maintenance.

I usually don't review product, but I would like to share my thoughts regarding these headphones. I tried a lot of different headphones for running (I run almost every day outside for 3-6 miles on average) and my previous favorite headphone was the PMX-60. However, these headphones are putting the 60s to shame: excellent bass and incredible detailed dynamics. Comfortable enough for running. Highly recommended.
Great Sounding Headphones.......2007-09-14
These earphones make an excellent replacement for the crummy earplugs that come with most MP3 players. Their great sound is a significant upgrade. I like the open backs that allow you to hear sounds around you--an advantage while walking in city traffic where you want to be aware of what is going on around you (just before you are run over). The disadvantage is that they don't work well in noisy surroundings. But all in all, a fine value for the money.

I really like these headphones.
Pros: Good base as well as execelent trebble response, lightweight, comfortable for several hours and so far durable
Cons: They do not fold (well the ear pads fold sideways to keep from breaking the speakers when stored), the plug that goes into the player comes out striaght up and does not bend at a 90 degree. This can be annoying when working out or walking as the cord sticks into your side if placed on your belt.
I would have given these 5 stars excecpt for the plug's poor design.
