I bought two of these earbuds since they match my white PSP, but I've been disappointed with the sound quality. It lacks bass and has a tinny, slightly harsh quality to them. Overall, it sounds decent though, and after getting used to these it no longer bothered me much. Also note that the white plastic is soft and tends to get discolored rather easily, which is disappointing also since the main reason I bought these is for the color. Anyway, for better sound quality and a lower price, I would recommend the Sony MDR-E828LP earbuds, they really sound significantly better than the E10LPs. I ordered these earbuds to listen to music and sounds on my computer at work. They came very quickly and they have more than met my expectations. The sound is absolutely fabulous.. I didn't know earbuds could sound that good.. plus they are really pretty.. fit very well into your ears with out any discomfort. Plus you can't beat the great price.
I would highly suggest these earbuds whether it is for an ipod, laptop or computer.. you will very much enjoy these. They get an A+ with me.

These headphones are comfortable even for long periods of wear, and they deliver fine sound for audiobook listening, which was my major purpose. My kids use they with their various music devices and are satisfied -- and they are inexpensive enough that when the kids lose the earbuds, my blood pressure does not rise.

Perfect Reliability, "Fastest" Lightscribe.......2008-01-01
Outstanding compatability and reliability, as usual, from Sony. Flawless, no problems. Recently, wanted to add a second one, but they were sold out. Ended up with the Memorex 530L, with the same specs, in theory. While the Memorex is good, I've noticed that doing Lightscribe projects, side by side, the Sony finishes the project a full 4 minutes ahead of the Memorex drive. One more reason to buy Sony, if nothing else.

Only initial difficulty was exchanging White cover for Black- instructions could be a little clearer.
Install-activation no problem under Win XP or Linux (Mandriva, Debian). Utilized Nero software and free ImgBurn in XP- fast and flawless. K3b usage- same results in Linux.
LightScribe software available in BOTH Windows and Linux variants; although Linux item not as comprehensive in labeling options (basic-only).
Overall, a great multi-format unit: fast, quiet, and efficient...
