Looks and sounds Pro, Terrible Noise Isolation.......2007-12-07
I've been DJing with this set of headphones for quite a while now and am pleased with the quality for the price. For what you pay, you really can't go wrong with this entry-level set. I used the savings for a nice Kaoss Pad. The sound is good -- bass frequencies are solid and treble frequencies are definitely respectable.
My main complaint is the noise isolation is terrible. It comes with big foamy cushions and you'd think these would do a good job of blocking out noise -- they don't. In fact, there's almost no noticeable difference between when you have the headphones on or off.
Overall, I think these headphones provide a good bang for your buck.

These cans sound decent at studio levels, but get distorted when you drive them at performance levels. *Totally* drowned out by a Mackie 450.

These things feel and sound great, but they offer zero external sound blockage. The cans are 'vented' in such a way they could be listened to with the cups flipped in or out - it doesn't matter because the volume is the same to you and everyone around. And you can hear everything around you.
Otherwise they have great sound range and look for the price!
