I feel very comfortable to wear this, even over 5 hours, it's still OK for me. The sound is good for this price; however, sometimes it has background noise even when I turn off the music.

Good for the price........2007-11-29

These headphones are comfortable and the sound quality is good. People next to me in the train do not really hear that annoying noise that some headsets make when the music is real load. They are lightweight as well.

Terrific for the price.......2007-06-25

I've had these for about a month, and really love them. When you order them keep in mind one key fact -- these are not closed in headphones, they do NOT seal sound in or out. I like that at home -- when I am working and someone asks me something, I can hear enough to clue in. The sound quality is wonderful, I've found myself hearing subtle parts of songs that I'd missed with my normal in-ear headphones. I would not recommend these for use in a airplane / train because of the noise leakage issue, but around the house they are just perfect.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2007 - we bought a second pair for my Daughter over the summer, and the dogs got ahold of the cord, resulting in no sound in one ear. Koss has a lifetime warranty on all their headphones, so we returned them to Koss with a nominal return freight payment, and they had a new set to us within a week. Great service. My daughter destroys headphones, so having this sort of backing is wonderful!

Wow!.......2007-06-14

These are great.
They fit so well, and have great sound (that is, if you do the angled drivers mod, and give them time to break in with pink noise). Totally worth the cash.
The UR40s have the same drivers as the KSC75s, which are also great headphones and respected by audiophiles everywhere.
They get 4 stars because they feel really fragile, but you'll definitely have no problem with these because of the lifetime warranty.

Though, these ARE NOT CLOSED CANS.
I repeat, THESE ARE NOT CLOSED CANS.
They are open and leak quite a bit of sound. Not recommended for airplane use.
If you want cheap full-sized headphones for casual use, these are great!

this is a great set of headphones.......2007-05-13

this is my second pair of these headphones. my teenage son accidentally broke the first set. i liked them so much that i wanted the exact same set. they have great sound quality, but if you are buying them for a quiet place don't bother. they are easily heard by anyone who is in the same room, esp. at higher volumes.

This is NOT an SDHC Reader.......2007-09-01

I purchased one of these specifically for SDHC. When it arrived I tried it, and regular SD cards work fine but an SDHC card will not. My SDHC card is a Transend 8GB that works fine in the Nokia N800 tablet, so I have no doubt about the card. Regular SD cards and the SDHC cards slide in when inserted into the Nokia. A regular SD will slide into the slot on this PQI product but the SDHC will not. There is a very slight difference in the SDHC card but it can slide into one of my other standard SD readers that cannot read SDHC. So the slot on this PQI Reader is a problem. Since the SDHC card cannot fit in the slot I have no way of knowing whether the device will actually read SDHC cards. Only a green sticker on the outside of the package identifies the reader as SDHC, the package instructions do not include SDHC, and the plastic reader itself has markings on the various slots without mention of SDHC. I presume that whoever put that green sticker on the box assumed that this device could do SDHC. The price is cheap, but if you buy this expecting SDHC you may be wasting your money, because the only refund you will receive will be an amount slightly more than what it costs you to ship it back. The shipping and handling will not be recovered and that amount almost doubles the cost of the product. Like me, if you buy this you are likely to waste your money.
