Pink Flip iPod case.......2007-01-31

This is a quality case--sturdy and practical. Only drawback for me was the lack of a belt clip. This case must be hand-held or kept in a pocket. I kept it in a pocket and there were several occasions when upon rising from a sitting position, the case tumbled out of my pocket, due to the tug of the earphones. Yet, the only thing keeping the iPod from falling to the floor was the earphone connection. Go figure! :-)

Good Overall.......2006-02-07

Overall, this case is pretty good. I like the look of it and it keeps my ipod well-protected. It is very well made and has quality parts (such as the magnetic snap closure.) The only downsides, which are not that major, are that you can't charge it while in the case. But this actually can be good because the hole would have to be large, leaving a large portion of the ipod "exposed." Also, the front panel that covers it can occasionally get in the way when playing games and such. In addition, it does come with a screen protector but put it on carefully because once its on, air bubbles and such are hard to remove even after it is reapplied.

Cute, but.............2006-01-08

....it's so inconvenient that you must remove the nano in order to charge it up. Had I known this, I wouldn't have purchased it! Would rather get one of the "skin" covers. Disappointing.

ipod nano case.......2006-01-07

I had got this case for christmass and It looks so good on my ipod nano, but after a couple of opening and closing the magnent started to come out of the case. But overall the case is a good case.

Unfortunately, this adorable little case doesn't come with the promised belt clip, nor does it have a protective cover for the screen. The inability to charge the nano while it's in the case is also an issue.

But it'll do until I find something better.

Worst enclosure ever made........2005-11-19

This case is the definition of crap. Three reasons:

1) The aluminum sides do not fit tightly, so unless you put some weight on top of the case, when your drive spins (in my case a DVD writer) you will hear a lot of noise similar to shaking a sheet of aluminum paper.

2) It uses the horrifying Prolific 3507 combo chip. Do a search for Prolific at forum.rpc1.com and you will find more than 200 users with problems with cases using this chip, myself included.

3) Kingwin's tech support is a joke. The case did not recognize my DVD writer on Mac OS X and WinXP (and its not broken as it recognizes my HD) - even detailing my problems throughly, all I get are one line sentences like 'Try cable select thanks'. When I asked if they ever had this problem, I got 'Yeah we some had it thanks'. Can you understand those sentences? I am Brazilian, my English is very good, but I think they put some 5 year old to work at tech support.

Bottom line, avoid Kingwin and Prolific chips, even if you have to buy a more expensive enclosure.

Outstanding Laser Printer For 11X17 Card Stock.......2007-09-18

I received my HP 5200 yesterday, and with a bit of labor (It is a very heavy printer) placed it into my home office area. The printed documentation is sparse, so you'll need to browse the PDF manual located on the CD. I quickly found what I needed: how to set the output to Pro Resolution, the highest, and how to insert large 11"X17" paper stock; the 5200 has a front manual load tray above the enclosed bottom paper tray. Within minutes I had installed the drivers and hooked up the machine, opened a file in Adobe Illustrator I had designed especially for 11X17, and selected the 5200 in the Printer Menu. I hit Print, and ZIP!, less than a second later the full 11X17 flew out of the 5200! And the print is incredible; the text was exceptionally crisp and the black art image was super rich and extremely sharp. Exactly what I was hoping for, and expecting for what I paid.

As an illustrator I plan on using this printer to set up graphic novel pages of text, art and frames, which I'll then print out to pencil on and ink final art. Then I'll scan on my Epson GT 15000 11X17 for publishing. HP says to expect printing of 10,000 pages on a single toner cartridge, but I expect less using 11X17 Bristol card stock. That's still a lot of printing from one cartridge. I highly recommend this product if you are creating graphic art or architectural projects.

fast and reliable.......2006-12-29

I purchase one of these and a 5100 for an architectural firm. They have both worked flawlessly for over a year now with moderate to heavy use.
