the best choice for earbuds short of custom-fitting.......2007-11-20
I've ordered 3 of these replacement packs for a couple of pair of Shure earphones over the last couple of years.
The sound isolation from the foam is excellent, they are fairly easy to use, and fall out less easily than any other option I've tried. Probably only custom-fit molding works much better.
The passive sound isolation is better than active noise cancellation by manufacturers such as Bose, as numerous studies have shown. I'm always amused by the Bose-users on airplanes who don't realize they would get better sound from tiny earphones like Shure or Etymotic than their 5lb monsters with batteries.
Only two minor caveats, one of which should be temporary - (1) There are no Shure earphones with the button for an iPhone yet, only an adaptor, this must be fixed soon. (2) It takes a bit of force and finesse to put the new foams on the earpieces, I haven't had trouble but some might.

I wish they sold them by the case. They stay in pretty well in the gym, and I love the ability to change them when I want, I hate skeevy.

The best option for the 'best' fit .............2006-11-14
I tried all the rubber vinyl plugs that came with the E3C's, but they all had the shortcoming of not effectively sealing the ear canal making bass very poor, and they were uncomfortable. The yellow foam plugs are easy to use and work just like the ear foams many people use in industrial applications. They effectively seal the ear canal and are very comfortable. Although they seem a bit expensive I've found that once they get dirty you can use water and a bit of dish detergent to clean them. Just soak, squeeze, rinse and let them air dry and they are as good as new. You can do this three or four times, then just toss them away.

Foams are a lifesaver.......2006-08-20
I'm stationed in Iraq and these memory foams are a lifesaver out here in the desert. While everyone else is using the same ear foams for protection while traveling in the helicopters and planes, I'm getting double use from them, I'm protected from the loud noise from the extremely loud aircrafts and enjoy my music at the same time. I love my memory foam earphones.

Two thumbs up for US Modular flash thumb drive........2006-05-31
The US Modular flash thumb drive I received is plastic in construction, small, light-weight, ivory in color, with a small red led light which shows activity.
One of my favorite things about this drive is it's thin, narrow form factor. Even with other USB cables connected the computer I have no problems fitting the US Modular flash drive into an adjacent USB port. The drive works great on USB ports on both Mac and PC, but remember to eject or stop the drive before disconnecting from the computer. I disconnected it once before it was completely "ejected" and lost some data. The drive's actual capacity is 249.7 MB as some storage is lost to formatting and the difference in how the computer makers interpret storage vs. how the drive makers interpret storage.
With the US Modular 256 MB flash drive, I have transfered pictures, music, and entire application upgrades and patches, without any problems whatsoever except for my own negligence in properly ejecting the drive. I have yet to come close to filling this drive and it has saved me from having to burn countless piles of CD-Rs. It's hard for me to believe that US Modular has a flash drive of the same small form that can hold up to 4GB! It's so small in fact, that it is easy to forget it's in your pocket. I forgot my drive in my jeans pocket once and it went through the wash with no ill effects... still works perfectly.
These things are so cool compared to having to wait for a CD to burn or compared to the floppy disks I had to use a few years back.
I give the US Modular line of flash thumb drives two "thumbs" up for offering cheap flash storage in a device made right here in the good ol' USA. I wouldn't hesitate to get another US Modular thumb drive.

Works Great on Dell 2100.......2005-04-16
I have a Dell Dimension 2100 Celeron 900. If you have an old system like mine, do yourself a favor. Get the memory guaranteed by Amazon's memory finder. It will work first try. I also recommend you do it quickly, as I think they will soon stop making memory for the older systems.
Before I bought this from Amazon, I bought memory cheaper elsewhere, but it didn't work - so I had to pay to ship it back and a 15% restocking fee as well. So save yourself the hassle, pay a little extra and get this memory from Amazon - it will work first try.
