With it's Ti line of headphones, Skullcandy recognizes that a good look is just as important as a good sound. In the looks department, Ti stands out with distinctive color and shape. Its sound is powered by a set of 41mm titanium drivers that deliver fast high-end response and deep bass.
The headphones feature a thick, leather padded, over-the-head band with metal outer studs and the Skullcandy logo. The ear cups are decorated with Skullcandy and Ti logos and skull artwork. The ear pads are made from a soft material called Leather Touch and are designed to fit comfortably around the ear to reduce outside noise. The ear cups are also able to swivel 90 degrees, which makes it possible to quickly grab the headphones and hear without fitting them over your head--just like the club DJs.
The Skullcandy Ti headphones come with a 6.3mm adapter plug designed to fit most home stereo systems, an extra ear pad set, and a headphone travel bag.

they are great when they work
they dont work well with the iphone or the ipod touch because of how the headphone jack is made. also, when i got them, the cord was already splitting open so it isn't very durable. make sure you warm them up before playing them at full volume or you may blow them out. have fun!
Comfortable, good-looking, not enough bass.......2007-03-23
The Good:
These headphones are the most comfortable to wear that I have ever tried. They aren't too tight and the materails aren't too "sweaty" which is nice. This is an important item for me since I can't stand phones that hurt or feel gross after being used for a half-hour or so.
They look great! The coolness factor is very high.
The ear-coverage is excellent. I have big ol' ears so this is key -- they block out a lot of outside noise which is good since I wear them a lot in a server room. I don't have to crank the tunes up too loud to drown out the noise.
Decent high to mid-range sound.
Cool case in which to carry them around and extra set of pads are nice.
The Not-So-Good:
I agree with a few other reviewers on the lack of bass. For the price, I would expect even better sound and surely a lot more bass. The overall sound quality is not bad, however I expected a little more bang for my buck. I get similar sound quality and a bit more bass from my Sony MDR-V150 at 1/4 the price (though the coolness and comfort factors aren't nearly as high).
I still like these headphones, but I am betting for the price there are better quality phones to be found.

I purchased these cans hoping the ney sayers were extreme audiophiles, and the praisers were average people. Turns out the ney sayers were average people like me. These Headphones have ZERO BASS, none. I love bass, I have had 15 + pairs of headphones, some of them $15-$20 dollars that have better bass. I thought maybe these might just have a nice clean sound un-poluted by heavy bass, I would rather have a pair of tweeters on my ears. They look so good though, I actually took a decent pair of headphones and put the speakers from those in the Skull Candies. Let me tell you, it's the design of the cup, they made the good speakers sound like dooky. So if you want somthing that looks great around your neck, like jewlery, get these. If you want good headphones, get a pair of sennheisers(SP?). They have affordable stuff that sounds great.

I have owned many sets of headphones, and I can honnestly say these are the best I have ever had.
This is the way music was meant to be listened to, its like listening to all my favorite songs for the very first time.
I LOVE these headphones!
If your not sure if you want these headphones, I would say go for it, You won't be dissapointed.

I apologize for previouse statements upon these headphones. These headphones are not in any way someting thats even worth your time. I compared them tho similarly priced sonys that even had noise cancellation and they lost miserably. The bass cant even be described as distorted more like snap crackle pop. That the sound it makes, and they dont go very loud i had a nicer pair from radioshac for twenty dollars. The mids are muddy and the highs are unclear. They are not worth 50 dollars or 40 maybe 15. I am dissappointed in them its almost depressing. Wait and buy any of the following brands: Grado, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, or AKG. Even there lowest end products are above the grade of these and ohters like sony. Seriously WAIT to buy headphones when you have the money for one of those brands you will be much more satisfied, i learned my lesson on skullcandy and i dont want you to have the same awful experience.
