I bought these because they caught my eye on the rack. Aesthetically, they grabbed my attention. I picked up a package of the earbuds and the lowriders. The headphones were more appealing. The name gave me pause--to smile!
Even in the package, they seemed so light. As soon as I got home I pried them out of the clear plastic container and plugged them into my Nano. I must say, I was surprised they sounded so good. Today I received several nice compliments from adults of all ages.
Wore them all day with no discomfort. The sound was great for my purposes. I am a contented customer.

I wanted to replace my bud earphones for my Sansa mp3 player. I was tired of having non-existent bass. These have just enough bass, pretty damn loud! I read other reviews for the other colors and everyone complained about not having enough. Well if you are a DJ these probably wouldn't be for you, but if you are a college student on a tight budget get these! To me they have great sound and are perfect to drown out everyone that is around you on the train or where ever else you go. Not only that but they look nice without being too much. The cushions are also very comfortable even with my industrial piercing. Plus they will probably keep my ears warm in the winter :)
Look better than they sound or feel.......2007-09-24
I bought these at Staples along with a set of JBL Reference 410's. The JBL's were on sale for $40 (from $60). The Skullcandy's sound hollow and tinny and they felt cheap while wearing. For the money, the JBL's blew the Skullcandy's away. I've also used Koss Portasound 2's which are about $30 and sound/feel way better as well.

I got these headphones because they look good. For that part, I have no complaint. These headphones are one of the best looking ones available. BUT THAT'S IT. Whenever I wear it, there is this BIG space between my head and the headphones so I look like I have a green, metal rainbow over my head instead of "hugging" my head. The sound quality is so-so and you can't expect much for $30 so I'm not complaining on that one. The plastic material that's holding the two sides of the headphones togerther (which also serves as the 'hinge' when it's folded) IS cheap plastic and looks like it will split up any moment. But my worst complaint with these headphones is how they slip off my head all the time (at least whenever I am NOT standing perfectly erect). No matter how I adust it--from tight, medium, to loose, I just can't seem to make it stay put on my head. AND this is when my hair is NOT down. I tried wearing these with my hair down and they just slip off!
All in all, Skullcandy's Lowrider is EYECANDY. If you want good performing headphones, look somewhere else.

They look cool, but the sound quality is just not there. Spend your money on the Sennheiser px100. For about the same price (or cheaper) you can have awesome sound reproduction. Trust me, the difference is very noticeable.

Wish I had seen the previous review on this item. Can't understand how they keep marketing this item with the new Q1 and it doesn't work. I checked the compatibility of this item very carefully, and nothing indicated that it didn't work with the new Q1. How do they not sell a regular USB DVD. Have to return the item.

The magnetic reader module of id Scan reads magnetic stripes of driver licenses, and extracts the data into an external file or the clipboard. With a reading and processing speed of 1-2 seconds per ID card, idScan's magnetic reader is the ideal solution for customer service offices and counters.
