Were good while they lasted.......2007-06-01
the hook design is great when jogging or during any other activity that requires lots of movement. Even found that I can press them against the pillow while resting and they don't even hurt your ears. Only thing is that they lasted only for a year.
Cheap but Good.......2007-05-12
These headphones are cheap and functional. I have broken several of the "overhead" type headphones in the past, and I hate the regular "in the ear" earbuds (they never fit me), but these are great. The fit comfortably on and in my ears and they don't mess up you hair, and have no bar to break. The only negative is that they tend to get tangled up. I use them daily (well, that is daily when I feel like exercising) while I jump rope and have no problems with them falling out. Sound quality is fine for my leaden ears.
A good headphone with decent sound.......2007-04-12
I primarily use this unit while walking out side during lunch break. Hence the review is based on the usage nature of the headphone.
Good
1. It stays put. Staying put is the reason, I have purchsed the headphone in the first place.
2. You can barely feel it.
3. The cord has some built in untagling feature. Unlike the cord of a regular headphone, the cord is resistant to tangling, making knots etc.
4. You can still hear out side sound. This is a huge plus for me while walking out side. I WANT to hear noises of cars and bikes in the street.
Bad
1. The sound quality is good, but not superb. This is no big deal for me. I am actually trying to walk and the quality of the music sound is not of paramount concern for me.
Good idea, design a little weird, and bad sound.......2006-08-23
When you look at a picture of the Sony MDR-J10 headphones, you probably think "great idea!" I certainly did, and I thought they'd be the answer to my annoyances with earbuds falling out while I run.
Well, that's partly true. The over-ear design is ingenious, and there's no slippage whatsoever, which is refreshing. But the design is also its most major flaw: most headphone speakers which project directly into your inner ear, but the placement of the speakers on this set is such that they face forward into the tragus (the projection of cartilage that sticks out from your ear), which means that the sound is inherently distorted. You can adjust the placement somewhat but, to me, it feels like I'm simply choosing the less annoying variation on distorted sound.
What's more, the overall sound was a bit tinny and weak for my tastes. I realize these are very inexpensive headphones, but even for running, I can't cope with such thin-sounding music.
After trying these, I switched back to the earbuds I already owned and found it less annoying that they fell out occasionally -- after all, they sound great when they do stay in, which is more than I can say for the Sony MDR-J10 headphones.
good headphones, wrong color.......2006-05-11
I also was sent black instead of green. Why even offer green if you will be sending black!? These were for a gift so I did not have time to attempt an exchange. They do work great and are adjustable to they fit both me and my husband wonderfully. I can move around and even wear them in bed without them falling out!!
If they had been green, they would have gotten 5 stars!

I am purchasing my 2nd drive because I haven't really had any significant problems setting-up or using what I have now. I love the ability to add a new disk creating a virtual drive with more capacity. The only problems I had was upgrading the client on a Windows 2K machine. I had to remove the drive using the Device Manager before I could remove the existing client (the software the comes with the drive). The OS see's the drive as just another drive installed on each machine. If you have Windows XP and/or Windows 2k machines both machines can write to the drive at the same time. However that doesn't apply to other OS's.
Perfect Storage device for Home Network.......2005-06-05
It's perfect external storage for home network. I have 1 desktop and 2 notebook pcs, and I share this drive (I have 2 in fact) over network with my wireless router. It is extremely easy to share pictures and video files between different computers even without all of them powered at the same time.
NetDisk is just what I needed for fast, easy backups.......2004-10-04
I was tired of burning CDs to backup my family's digital photos and videos and finally found NetDisk. What used to be a very manual and risky procedure (since I would only burn CDs every couple of months) is now fully automated and much less risky. Thanks to NetDisk and Super Flexible File Synchronizer, a very robust backup utility <www.superflexible.com>, my backups occur automatically every night over my wireless LAN. It used to work Ok over 802.11b but I recently upgraded to 802.11g (in fact, Netgear's 108Mbps Super G) and it works even better. I just got a second NetDisk and started using Mirroring to ensure a full backup of our files. My wife is now able to access all files from the NetDisk on her wireless computer at any time with the simplicity of treating the NetDisk as just another disk drive on her machine. Although every now and then my wife's 802.11b connection may make the NetDisk connection a little flaky, all in all this is an exceptionally fast, easy, and safe solution for backing up our family's digital photos and videos.
