Product Description
Grado's ability to combine lightness with extreme rigidity and internal damping has been put to good use on the SR125. The SR125 features an improved diaphragm and voice coil design and UHPLC (Ultra-high purity, long crystal) copper voice coil wire. The diaphragms are put through a special 'de-stressing' process in order to enhance inner detail. An improved headband spring provides even greater comfort allowing the listener to relax and enjoy the fine tonal spread and balance. Bass, midrange and treble are all more open.

Grado Prestige SR 125 - Headphones.......2007-05-14
Product lives up to its technical reviews. Sound quality is excellent. Lightweight and comfortable, neither my wife nor I have had comfort problems with it, even when used for several hours. Recommended.
Helpful hint for Grado headphones.......2007-03-28
I recently purchased the SR 80 headphones (they sound great!), not the 125's, but this may help buyers of this product who might be dismayed to see the 1/4" plug instead of the 1/8" on the end of the cord: The 1/4" end on my SR 80 cord was a threaded piece, and all I had to do was unscrew it to reveal the 1/8" connector for an MP3 player. So there was no need for an adapter. Give it a try with the 125's. That's all-hope this works for you.
Great Sound/Terrible Fit.......2007-03-26
These cans sound fantastic once you break them in (which can take a bit longer than with other phones, about 50-60 hours for me). Compared to a closed cup set such as the Sony MDR-V600, the sound of the Grados is much more aggressive. Excellent phones for Rock and Jazz, but a more laid back set (Sennheiser HD-500 series) would be better suited to classical. These cans have exceptional response, music with extremely fast attack and defeat sounds perfectly clear.
However, there is a caveat, unless you have an unusually shaped head, these will not feel comfortable. Personally, I think putting these phones on feels like strapping a medieval torture device to my head, that said, after a minute or so of the incredible sound, concerns about comfort melt away.
Overall, I highly recommend them, but some people simply can't get over the lack of comfort. If possible, find a pair of Grados and try them on (almost all models SR-60 through SR-325 are identical in fit and feel), if you can't stand them, look elsewhere. If they don't feel that bad, you'll probably get used to them.
note 1: these headphones have a 1/4" plug, not the more common 1/8" plug, you may need to find an adapter.
note 2: these are open phones, people around will hear what you are listening to, may not be the best choice for the office, a dorm room (unless you don't like your roomate), or some sort of covert stealth mission.
Excellent sound; not so excellent comfort.......2007-01-07
These headphones deliver excellent sound quality. The clarity and extended frequency response are hard to beat in this price range. But I am forced to give them only 4 stars due to comfort. I just can't wear these for 4 continuous hours without my ears hurting. For this much money, I expect them to be more comfortable out of the box.
I have tried one of Grado's older models that still has the flat ear pads (as opposed to the new bowl style), and I find them comfortable. I am planning to swap my ear pads for the older style. With this modification, I expect to be happy with wearing them for longer periods.
Extremely good.......2006-12-15
First and foremost as others have mentioned, hook these guys up to a stereo and run it for 12 - 24hrs to break them in before passing judgement on them. Vary the volume while you do this, start out low, then after a few hours go to a mid volume setting, then to a medium loud setting for the last few hours (Not loud enough to blow them mind you).
These headphones after the break in period are the clearest headphones you'll ever put on your head and I'll stand behind that statement-I'm an audiophile and have tried most every high end headphone in existence from Sony's V series to AKG to Beyerdynamic to Sennheiser.
However, I'm only giving them 4 stars for 2 reasons. They're not the most comfortable, at least not at first. The ear pads are stiff and to me smelled of petro chemical residue. I softened mine down the first day I had them by placing them in a sink with very warm water with a soy based fabric softener, I soaked em for 10 minutes all the while squeezing the water between them. The also are a bit light on the bass, if you want some of these that are perfect with just the right bass response, look one more notch up in the line for $50 more, the SR225's.

ELS 5.1 Home Theater System with 300W Powered Sub
Two pairs of ELS3 speakers, one ELS 3C centre channel and the powerful new ELS subwoofer make up this system and even though the 4 monitors are compact in size, they certainly do justice to large scale cinema sound requirements.
The individual features of each of the component parts of this 5.1 system can be found on the respective product pages. However the smooth integration of the six speakers is the key to the success of Eposs first entry into the world of home cinema.
In reviewing this 5.1 system from Epos, the U.K. magazine What Hi-Fi loudly sings its praises - highlighting amongst other things its prodigious timing and its barnstorming movie capability.
The Epos system was the overall Group Test Winner against some very strong competition.

Customer Reviews:
I like this so much more than my Epson Photomate .......2007-10-07
I'd been using an Epson Photomate for a couple years. The prints from that were excellent - when it worked. That is a ink cartridge printer and I had several cartridges fresh direct from Epson that only gave me a handful of prints before the images went bad. They promise to reimburse you if you send back the paper and I have about 200 sheets of paper left over.
The Olympus has been terrific. I've printed about 250 photos and not a single reject. The images are just as good as the Epson and on par with typical lab work. The warmup and print speeds are fantastic.
I've used the 100 pack and 50-pack paper refill. The ribbon is noisier with the 100-pack - like it's pulling real hard - so I'll probably stick with the 50's to be safe. On other reviewer said his 100 roll snapped.
I really like the Olympus dye sub process better than the ink jet. It is so much more reliable than multiple inks. The clear coat is a big advantage as well.
My only complaint isn't enough to drop it from a 5 rating but if I print a bunch of photos and run out of paper part way through I get an error message saying the paper is out (fair enough) but then the remaining prints are just cancelled. With my regular paper printer if I run out of paper I can just refill it and click OK and resume printing - not so with the Olympus. It's something with their printer driver and I'm current as of Sep 2007.
So, I'm careful to select a small batch to print when I think I'm running low on paper.
breaks ribbon cartridge........2007-06-10
I have not used this printer very much since I have another printer.( I've had it about 6 mo.). Halfway through the pack of 100 paper the ribbon cartridge broke. You can't buy just a ribbon cartridge, you have to buy a complete package of paper and ribbon. The ribbon only prints the number of photo paper you purchase. So now I have all this extra paper and no way to use it. Of course now that this has happened the printer must have ribbon jammed in it, because it won't work. If I hadn't purchased 3 more packs of extra paper and ribbon,(costly) I'd throw this printer in the trash! Of course I can't find my reciept so Olympus wants $80.00 just to look at it.
Fast and easy.......2007-05-12
I have tried several different photo printers and have found the Olympus P-11 to be the best. It has a small foorprint, is very easy to use, prints a very good quality, water-resistant 4X6 color photo in just a few seconds and is very durable.
Good product with bad software.......2007-01-04
I purchased this printer for mainly 4x6 prints & my Canon printer for larger prints. The picture quality is often different from my PC monior screen and I have to adjust the graphic setting for different pictures. In other words, I have to waste several test prints before I finally get a picture close to the monitor. Also when I print, I need to individually import/transfer picture files into the Olympus software from My Pictures folder of Window XP. It cannot just click the picture and send it to the printer. What a pain! This product is OK if you print pictures directly from a camra and your expectation of photo quality is low. Once the color condition is met, the print itself is fantastic with waterproof paper.
VERY PLEASED WITH PRINTER.......2006-07-10
Very happy with this printer. I am, always, concerned with quality performance. But, also with price. I wanted a photo printer that I could print right here at my computer and not have to go to some store to print out. So, the price of paper and printing film was a concern, too, but not to important for the low quantity I print. This printer was less than half price to purchase from Amazon.com, and the paper and film less than half price, too. So, I feel I am getting what I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. Can't beat that! Plus, the most important part, the prints are absolutely beautiful, every time. I recommend this printer and Amazon.com price and service.
