Overall decent headphone, great sound quality, XBS bass works as advertised.
Two complaints:
1. headphone cord is a little too short for my needs.
2. the way it fits over my ears tend to pinch and become a little uncomfortable over time.
May fit better for you, but sound quality is great.
Absolutely Astounding Set of Little Foam Headphones!.......2005-09-18
I use to feel sorry for people who used little foam headphones like this pair. As someone who has been using headphones since the time they were called earphones--and you got a free white pair with every radio you bought--I thought I knew what the best headphones were: BIG studio type ones!
Then, I got a portable Panasonic CD player--SL-SV570--which came with these RP-HG10 headphones. I had no intention of using them, mind you. I was going to use my big headphones with the CD player, or portable active speakers. One day, however, I needed to listen to something quick, and these little headphones were the closest to me, so I just grabbed them and listened. I couldn't believe how good they sound. I still can't believe how good they sound. I can't go back to my big headphones! They don't sound anywhere near as good as these.(And these are very light and comfortable, even though they are behind the neck ones.)
I later bought a larger more expensive pair of Panasonic headphones hoping to get the same sound, with all noise blocked out, but they didn't sound anything like these. I'm still searching for such a pair, because I prefer a total blockout of outside sounds, but until then...these cheapo little headhones will be what I use for my music. Nothing sounds better!

The unit casts an unbelievable image. Not just beautiful, detailed, 3-D, and exciting, but deeply soul-satisfying. The rich color is accurate out of the box, and setup is an absolute breeze. HDTV is superb, HD DVD is impossibly fantastic, and even SD looks great. VGA input gives a simple computer connection. Blacks are good except in very dim scenes, when they become a drawback. That's a small concession for such an extraordinary value in a TV. The quality of the built-in video processing alone is worth the cost. There is simply no comparison with flat panels or rear projection. You should have a 100-plus in. diag. screen in a DARK room for maximum impact.

The PT-AE1000U LCD HD Proj 11000:1 1100 Lumens Hdmi Svid Rbg is a great unit. Excellent HD quality. We installed it ourselves - very easy with minimal handyman knowledge for the ceiling mount. Worked perfectly out of the box. We have since gone into some of the menu options and selected picture quality/brightness options that we preferred for our home theater.
