The mic itself is actually quite decent, however, the headset is damned uncomfortable after more than, say, 10 minutes.

The headset / microphone is easy to use and the price is reasonable. I am happy with the product and the headset feels comfortable to wear. I believe that I will have years of use with this purchase.
A Good Value for the Price.......2007-01-11
The audio speaker range isn't what I would call spectacular and the construction couldn't accurately be described as "stout," but this little gem gets the job done nonetheless. I use it with an older version of Dragon Naturally Speaking voice dictation software and it works quite well. I dictate lots of documents containing legal terminology, and between the CA-200 and my Dragon Naturally Speaking software, the results are very impressive. I primarily use this mic with a desktop computer that has an AMD Athlon 1.7ghz processor and 512 MB RAM and a Compaq Evo N800C Laptop Computer that has a 2.2ghz Intel P4M processor and 512 MB RAM. Not state of the art equipment by any means, yet I still get exellent results. I'm pretty happy with this purchase. And you simply can't beat the price. Do yourself a big favor though and buy it for the mic and not the speaker headphones.

I really love this TV. I caught it on sale about a year ago, and I have been very satisfied with it's performance. The picture is clear, crisp, and defined. Everything I expect and have come to rely on with JVC televisions. I have had three other JVC's and they never failed. They just got upgraded.
VCR/DVD pictures are wonderful, and the BBE and Hyper Surround Sound are both really great to use when you don't have a home theater setup. The boys also prefer to use this to play their games on. That 36 inch screen really makes the games cool enough for even adults to enjoy. I recently added Digital cable, and the picture is even better than before.
The only con I have is that there are certain functions that can only be accessed by the remote. If you lose the remote (a common thing around here!) you lose the ability to switch the BBE or Hyper surround off.
I will eventually go to a HDTV format but I am going to wait until it gets a little more intergrated in broadcasting.
In the meantime, This is the perfect compliment to my home theater.

After seeing the price, features and the review - this looked like a great deal. I walked into circuit city to watch this TV. It has a very poor display. I decided to pass on this TV.

I bought this set after extensively researching and comparing it to non-1080i Sony, Hitachi, and Panasonic 36" tvs, regular and flat screen. I am completely satisfied with the picture, sound, and features. The skin tones and blacks are outstanding, and the sound convincing. In the stores watching the high-definition sample programming, I slightly preferred the flat screens, but felt that they just weren't worth the considerable extra cost. Now that I have this tv at home, I find that I do not miss whatever it was that I thought I saw in the flat screens. The Sony name was not worth the extra cost, and this set offered slightly better features than the Hitachi and Panasonic. I thought hard about an hdtv but decided to wait until all format and broadcast issues were resolved and the price dropped below four figures.

Great drive if you get the right model........2003-05-31
This is a great drive _if_ you get the right model. Another review complained that their drive didn't match up with the description in a PC World review -- the most likely reason is that Cendyne only repackages drives from other manufacturers. Of the current models that you might find in a Cendyne 52x24x52 box, the main 3 (at present) are: Benq, Asus, and Lite-on. The Lite-on drives are generally regarded as the best of the bunch (and usually include a full copy of Nero rather than Nero express). All the drives that have a model number starting with "LTR-" should be Lite-ons. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell without looking at the back of the box.
Be Wary of Changes.......2003-05-22
It is currently 4th on PC World's top 10 CDRW's. The review said it included the full version of Nero Burning Rom 5.5, and Mount Rainier support. I could not find anything on Cendyne's site or sites selling the drive either verifying or disputing these specifications, so I assumed it was true. When I received the drive it contained only Nero Express, which is a stripped down version of Burning Rom, 1 very cheap cd-r disc (usually you get 1 cdrw and 1 cdr with many drives), and scant documentation. Nero diagnostic said it did not have Mount Rainier support, either. I do not hold PCWorld responsible, since their drive probably did have the features they wrote, and Cendyne changed the drive later. This should have been noted on the Cendyne site. I am returning the drive, and would advise sticking with brand name drives for quality software packages and specs that don't change on the sly.
