I bought this paire of headphones because they were cheap and Panasonic. They are good but not recomanded for bass tests. They are loud and clear even at 40mw comparing with the sony mdr-e818 at 50mw...they do a grea job for the money. They are soft and with many hours of listening you won't be feelin' them in your ears. So if you want my pro' opinion i'd say that Sony and Panasonic are the masters of headphones especially because they are too good for the price.

my this earbud headphone is poor in bass response comapared to my sony mdr g-54lp(beware mdr-g54lp and mdr g54lp is two different models there is difference of - sign) actually in experts view this type small earbuds use to give poor sound this is true with any brand and model so never buy earbud type small headphone if you want small headphone buy IN THE EAR CANAL type headphone in experts view this type in ear earphone use to give good crystal clear sound example sony mdr ex 71 / 81, shure e2c etc. if bigger headphone is ok than buy mdr-g54lp

I received these earbuds after having purchased some extremely sub-par buds from Sears. I expected the same level of quality (since the cost was very close), and was most pleasantly surprised!
I want to order another set for my granddaughter, since she just received an iPod and was complaining about the earbuds they ship with.

Granted, earbuds aren't the best way in the world to listen to music, but they *are* extremely portable and discreet. These headphones fit snugly into your ears (no more feeling that they'll fall out at any moment!) and don't feel unnecessarily clunky/heavy. I can wear these for several hours without feeling like I need to take them out.
As with all buds, they do leak sound, don't give you superb sound for low bass/high treble, etc. But the sound quality isn't bad fod buds, and they certainly are more comfortable than any other buds I've tried.

These are great earbud headphones. I bought these along with the Aiwa HP-V600 ($20) so I can qualify for free shipping. These earbuds have a much larger sound stage than the Aiwa. This is especially apparent when listening to classical symphonies. While Aiwa had much more Bass and was more efficient to drive (more sound/volume setting), the soundstage was small and muddled. It sounded like the entire orchestra was crammed in your bathroom. This was worsen because the Aiwa also picked up tiny details (the Panasonic also did too but to a lesser extent). This additional detail combined with a small sound stage gave an impression of excessive noise.
One thing about the Aiwa was that it fit better in your ears. It also shielded out background noise better.
One complaint about these headphones is that they are BLACK, not the GOLD color as pictured. The black color looks so Ordinary.
The bottom line is: If you want loudness and lots of Bass and you don't listen to classical or acoustic stuff, get the Aiwa. For classical music, especially if your player has a bass boost, get the Panasonic.

Nothing but Misery.......2006-08-29
First mistake was having the IT Tech at the time build critical mission servers himself, second mistake was to use this card. Card is very picky with what motherboards it chooses to work with. The final straw with this garbage is losing the RAID 5 and not being able to delete the logical drive from the BIOS.
Promise support is less than helpful, if they answer you at all.
This might be fine for at home setup, but for anything business related, go buy a name brand. With the time I spent trouble shooting this card, we would have saved money doing so.
