The compact VE500A from Audiovox offers a five-inch, drop-down LCD, a remote control, and stereo sound. The set can be flush-mounted as well. Screen resolution is 960 x 234.
In addition to normal broadcast reception of VHF and UHF channels, the VE500A's 125-channel tuner is capable of receiving many unscrambled cable-TV channels without the use of a converter box (cable service required). The unit operates on 12V (+/- 10 percent, 1.3-1.5A) DC power, and comes with an AC/DC power adapter comes. An included remote control will operate all Audiovox televisions.

The unit has great sound and picture, but this is an LCD screen, and viewing from an angle is not possible. You need to look at the screen straight on or you can't see the picture. Would NOT recommend mounting it under a kitchen cabinet which is what it is designed for. I can't believe that AudioVox would design and market this unit for that purpose ! I bought it to mount under a kitchen cabinet, and was VERY disappointed ! YardDeal would NOT take it back, so be careful who you buy it from !!
