I was going through cases every month until I came upon these JAVOShield metal cases. The ultimate protection for your iPod. The inside is even lined and it comes with a screen and click-wheel adhesive (removable) cover as well. The aircraft aluminum also does not add much weight to your iPod. I'd buy these again but I don't think I will have to since they are so sturdy!

Once in a while you will receive a product that is made to such close tolerances, it's literally amazing. This product is EVERYTHING it is advertised to be. It fit my iPod BETTER than a glove, it's actually snug and best of all, the interior of the unit is carefully padded! One caution, you place your iPod in the case one way, any other, and you risk scratching it, while placing it in the metal case! Once in the case, I suppose you could easily drop it on concrete, and I'm sure it would survive. I don't want to put it to the test, but the case is sturdy, hinged well and above all, fits PERFECTLY with my iPod Second generation!
I would NOT use any other case, with the exception of the heavily padded rubber case out on the market now, but my little metal case is sturdy, tough and is wonderful! I give this one (5) stars!!
I should also say it comes with the stick on clear wheel cover and the clear screen cover, that are easily installed. They sell these two things separately for about $9, so the package is a good value.

I bought this device right before going on vacation.
Just had a long talk with tech support in my hotel and they told me the device is defective.
I don't have the original box so I can't get a refund/replacement. I asked them to RMA it, but they won't.

Excellent quality! Very satisfied. A must have for any mobile professional. However, gave it 4 stars because it stops working properly after prolonged use due to overheating (expectable for such a tight packed electronics). So, handle and treat it accordingly (don't block the vent holes, give it a chance to cool down periodically). Thank you Amazon for a great deal and blazing fast shipment too!
Pocket Router unreliable.......2007-11-22
I got the Pocket Router and tried it both at home for a week and on a business trip for a week. I found that you need to read the fine print - it works well for surfing when the computer and the pocket router are in the same room, but it is unreliable when a wall is placed between the router and the device using the router. During set up, I set the encryption to WPA2 and had issues until I downloaded the WPA2 patch from MSFT. After that it appeared to work well for surfing, but I discovered that it was not good for any sustained traffic - such as VOIP or an enterprise VPN.

This item didn't work. We sent it back and purchased a desktop router. Had no problem getting refund. Good service.

Very light and small it has a USB power source that can be very usefull, it's easy to setup and use, you can setup your own wireless network wherever you are.
